Another one of those posts...what would you all add here?

7 foot Medium Vendetta with 6.4:1 Pro Qualifier

7 foot Medium Vendetta with 7.0:1 KVD Burner

6'6" Medium Light Vendetta with Sahara 2500

7 foot Medium CarbonLite with Symetre 2500

Maybe something for deep cranks (and how deep does that mean to use it at)?

I would add a 7' mh/m rod with a 5:1 ratio reel or a 7'3" h/f rod with a 7:1 ratio reel

The Vendettas are all Medium Fast

The 6'6" is actually a medium shaft, not medium light and it is a fast action

More important question for me would be what kind of fishing do you do?  Or even ask what kind of fishing do you want to explore next?  I think the recomendation would vary depending on what application you would use the combo.

I agree with this. Or what type of fishing scenarios are you faced with? Example, if you're stuck on the bank, a deep diving cranking set up might not be as useful as a MH Worm/Jig rod.

I do have a boat and get out now and then with it...I use the 7 foot with the 7.0:1 for most jig applications.

He basically has a MH in his M vendetta, those fish a power up. I would ad a little longer rod say a 7'6 mh. You can pitch with it, fish plastics in deep water, Carolina rigs. Pretty Versatel stick IMO

x2

A deep cranking set up or swimbait set up could be other options. Personally I would go with motodast based on the way I like to fish.

It all depends on what technique you'd do more or like to learn and stick with it.  I'd go with a 7'3 or 7'6" MH like suggested, it would be a good versatile stick.

Something heavier and possibly longer for thicker cover.

On a thicker cover rod that is 7'3 or 7'6 for jigs, etc, is it better to have a fast reel like a 7:1?

I tend to classify rods according to what I'm going to use them for, and not so much by length & action.  That being said, I'd have a dedicated drop shot rod.

I would include a H or a MH.  When you are fishing heavy cover, that extra muscle can come in handy.
