Has anyone noticed Berkley is putting 25% more baits in their plastics now? Thirteen 7" power worms instead of ten. Same with chiggercraws etc.

That would be good news. More times than not, it's the other way around!  Stopped using Powerbaits but I once used chigger craws all the time. Good little craw bait.

Have not as I usually buy the 100 count bags of 10 and 7 worms- craws I bought at beginning of season and have not had to restock on yet.

All sizes of chigger craws have the increase?

I unpacked a lot of boxes of powerbaits last Friday while working at BPS, and all the bags were marked 25% more baits. Obviously not the 100 count bags, after all, a hundred is a hundred....lol.

sorry- had intended to ask if all size chigger craws had the increase- 3,4, and 5 inch models.

Too bad everything wasn't going that direction. Berkley seems to be trying to help out the weekend warriors between this move and the Havoc line up being so cheap and effective. I wasn't a big fan of Berkley baits until they came out with the Havoc's, now they're one of the most numerous plastics in my bag.

Here's the thing, guys. Yes, you're getting 25% more baits, but they've taken well over a 25% increase since the re-introduction of the bagged baits. Packaging update and piece-count notwithstanding, you're not getting more for your money, they're just makin it look that way in the way they have presented it.

I love the havoc plastics too. The bottom hopper in particular has been a great producer for me, and they're filthy cheap!

This is not true if you actually do the math. Where I buy powerbait the old packages were $3.99 for 7 chigger craw, so .57 each. The new packs are $4.69 for 9, so .52 cents each. We benefit here and overall there might be less trash from the packaging in the long run

They're still $3.99 a pack for all their baits here, more baits and same price is a win for fishermen.

I get 18 pcs. 7 1/2" worms from culprit. Some come in 10" & 12" long too.
