Super User rockchalk06 Posted September 16, 2013 Super User Posted September 16, 2013 I won an auction with a few Lucky Craft jerkbaits and one is the Lavender Shad color. Basically purple and white. When, where and how is this color best used? I've never ran it before. Thanks Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted September 16, 2013 Super User Posted September 16, 2013 Since you are stuck with them just use them. Seriously they are just another color choice. Seeme to be a good smallie color. It is a variation of white with soft purple shading . Good color for walleye . Try it on largemouth and find out. Quote
BradH Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I don't have any LC lavender shad jerkbaits but I've got plenty of McSticks and X-Raps in purple/white. I have luck in the spring or fall with clear to moderately cloudy water. I'd try something else in chocolate milk. A XRD-10 xrap in purple/white or perch has caught me more fall river smallmouth than any other bait. Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 16, 2013 Global Moderator Posted September 16, 2013 It's a good color on cloudy days in stained to clear water in my experience. Quote
