I learned last year not to jump on the "new or improved" when they first hit the market. I ditched 6 perfect reels that were gems and 4 rods for the new Abu products and got burned. I want a new Chronarch Ci4, but I'm going to wait a year to see if its a flop first. When I dumped my Abu's, I had to practically give them away. I don't want to be stuck with a 275 dollar paper weight.

I'm not saying anything negative about Duckett, just a general statement. The *** has been proven as a dependable rod that works.

Duckett has had breakage problems with every new release, the micro magic rods were breaking at first and then they seemed to get a little better and then the White ice rods were delayed a year as the prototypes the pro staff had were experiencing breakage issues. With all that I would wait until they are on the market for at least 6 months, that's about how long they need to be out before you begin to see real reviews done on them.
