Now I flat out know that the veritas cost more. But which is better. Im thinking about purchasing one these rods because I don't like the ethos.

I like the look of them all and the way it feels in my hand. But I'm not sure which one...Let's state facts guys

I haven't fished or touched a Volatile and I have played around in store a Vendetta.  A Veritas I have one and fish with, it is a MH/F 7'3.  It is my "all purpose) rod, sensitive enough for bottom contact and stout enough to be a frog rod in a pinch.  I also will tie one spinnerbaits/buzzbaits, jigs 1/2 oz+ and weighted texas rigged plastics 3/8 oz +.  You didn't state what you wanted to use it for?  Anyway, I like the Veritas and it's a solid stick to get.  My next choice would be a Vendetta from your choices.

I have 5 Veritas rods and plan to look into getting both Winch models this off-season. My experience has been very positive and I love the rods. Got them all on sale and did not pay more than $59 for any of them.

But I have no experience with the other rods except in the store, so I can't offer a comparison.

I have a generation 1 Vendetta, it's a 7ft M rod fast tip, and is pretty stiff, feels like a MH.  I use it as my all around rod (I do more bank fishing) and it's done pretty well.  I like the sensitivity and the weight of the M rod.  The handle feels good and I like how its balanced.  I have not had the chance to play with a veritas rod yet, but I have heard good things.  I found the gen 1 vendetta at walmart for marked down to 30$.

Veritas. You won't be disappointed. Just check the guides to be straight. Also check the epoxy holding the guides on.

I have all three choices. Currently using 4 gen1 vendettas , 3 veritas(2 winch models) and 1 volatile (ML). Honestly the volatile and veritas seem to be the same rod other than a few minor differences like reel seat ( the veritas has a more open reel seat design and curved trigger which does take some getting use to) , fore grip ( the veritas does not have one vs the eva on the volitlie) and color( white for veritas and blue for volatile). The vendettas are great rods for the price but lack in eyelet number if that matters( 7 +tip for less than 7'3 rod on the vendetta vs 9+tip on the veritas/volatile) If I had $99 to spend I would probably get the veritas because I like the different reel seat, number of eyelets and color but thats it. Those are really the only 3 differences in the rods other than the $20 between the vendetta and veritas/volatile.

I'll probably be using it multipurpose like you are using it.

If you're going to pay retail for the Veritas, there are better options outside of the Abu brand.

If these are your only choices, do as others have said.

I have two Vendetta's, a both 7' Mediums (one spinner and one baitcaster) and a 6'6" Medium baitcasting Veritas and really like all of them.  I find the Vendettas are a little stiffer than the Veritas.  Sensitivity is great on all three, but overall I'd give the Veritas a little bit of an advantage for just feeling good in my hands.

Best of luck with your choice, either way Abu's are great rods. Just my 2-cents.

I have a veritas and a vendetta and I like the vendettas but I love the veritas. I feel like the Veritas has much more sensitivity. Its by far my favorite rod I own
