I never have used an A-Rig.

I lie the money minnow and I use it with a weighted screwlock wide gap hook, i use trokar or gammy.  Weight and hook sized is adjusted for the size but i usually go with the 5/0 for the 5".

Big key is rigginit it dead on straight or go with the Doug Stange method where you rig it on it's side.

Rig mine on a screwlock hook most of the time. Also, Try out a sworming hornet. It's a jig head with a willow blade on the bottom. Absolutely killer when paired up with a LFT magic shad. Never tried them on a money minnow but I'm sure it wouldn't e a bad setup.

The hook size depends on the kind of money minnow your using. There are fat body ones and thinner ones I use the screw in hooks with no weight so I can watch it work closer to the surface. I twitch it like a dying minnow. I did have a lot of strikes with no hook ups with it. To me it's an awesome bait if I can come up with a simple trailer hook for it. Bb

I did have one hook up with a very big fish in November.
