My biggest issue is that I can feel anything with them. I know it's about rate of fall for the Dennis and that's why they are so effective. I just have a hard time with it

The senkos. Not the Dennis. My phone autocorrected

BL, it does take a bit of getting used to it, especially without a weight. You have to leave a little slack in your line, not a lot. watching your slightly slack line helps, but when mine is dropping from the cast, I'll twitch mine. Couple different reasons, first it's to get all the slack out of the line, lightly feeling my senko, I know I don't have to wait for a lot of slack to be taken out when it gets hit.

Second, a lot of the time a bass will hit it on the fall, with a very light twitch, I feel I have a better chance of feeling the strike.

And when the senko is falling from the cast, by lightly twitching you change up movement of the fall. If a bass is watching it and thinking about hitting it, a sudden change and quick little movement of the bait usually results in a strike.

now this is how I taught myself to use this weightless, I'm sure other ppl have there best way also.

theres no right or wrong way, just have to try a few and you'll automatically go with what you feel is better for you.

Second time ever fishing the lake was friday and sat, front pushed through friday night with rain and winds. Fished small cove in harvey creek only catching 2 fish flipping brush hogs in 8-10ft. Also fished very back of Veach, caught fish about 8 fish flipping bushes and trees in about 6ft of water. Caught about 10 fish all together about 2lbs each and picked up 2 fish a little over 4lbs.

Went out Monday and dedicated my time to strictly fishing shallow flooded cover. Bites were few and far between and very slow fishing, caught most of my fish flipping shallow cover with jigs and beavers. Here are a couple of nice ones from Monday!

Nice fish Red,

i got on the water Sunday evening late, was able to get two solid hours of fishing in. Caught 3 decent keepers. Fished mon and tue  and just couldn't get on them. Was fishing flooded areas the whole time, senko, craws and lizards. Even tried my frog, had a blow up, but that was it!! One day there on, and the next is totally different, at least for me! Lol

Yeah Rob, I accidentally ran into a few good ones! The bite is really tough right now, I fished from daylight until 300 and caught 8-10 fish. I've been throwing the frog at them to, they will swirl on it or just blow up on it and not take it.

Yeah Red, it is getting tough for me too. I'm headed that way mid week, I'll chunk some plastic at them. Still waiting on them to inhale my frog! Lol

It don't get any better than that!

We caught lots of good fish Monday fishing watermelon red senkos weightless dipping tail with chart. Bigger fish we caught were out side the grass line in 8-10 ft of water. We caught 2 that went close to 5 lbs and 8 others that were between 1 to 3 pounds.

Fished a small benefit tourney today out of cassels. Had a decent day, but just couldn't get on any bigger fish. I did have a nice kicker though(7.5lbs). Couple of guys weighed in a 30lb bag, they weighed in a 10 and a 9 and said they were caught on back to back cast! Didn't get any info or details on how they were caught but I'm guessing they were caught out deep!

My first tournament is SETX highschool was Dec 5th. We finished 12th out of 490 teams throwing traps. We had 14.38lbs . Our second tournament was feb 6th, we finished 12th again out of 470 teams. We had 16.88 throwing swim jigs. We had another tournament March 12th and we finished 123rd out of 400 or so teams. The bite was tough but we kept grinding. We had about two 4 pounders. Fishing weightless senkos with 11.38lbs . That was before the water came up. The bite has been really tough. But we have a SETX tournament this Saturday and was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the fish?

Went fishing this past Friday and caught 50-60 fish between flipping, frogging, and senkos. Biggest fish was right at 4 lbs! The frog bite is coming on strong! Did catch a hungry bullfrog to, crazy!

Finished the setx tournament this Saturday. Ended up with 11.29 lbs and 76th place out of 480 teams. We were using weightless senkos throwing off the hay grass and pulling it back. We didn't even move the senko. Most of the time we would reel in our slack and have a fish. Tryed a frog early in the morning and didn't get a bite.

Still sitting in 18th for angler of the year, out of 490 teams. Lake has been pretty tough but I heard the frog bite has been on fire. Would like to go up there and try. If anyone needs any info about the lake right now. I'm willing to spill info.

Past weekend Pitched and flip baby brush hogs watermelon red in the canyons caught 2 in the trees and 5 on the outer brush biggest was about 3lb... flipped a purple lizard with dipped tail and ran a lipless craw color along the edges but the brush hog had the bites

I would try a regular size brush hog in water melon red and throw it in the grass. I talked to Corey rambow  and he sayed the fish are stacked up in the grass. Or throw a watermelon red senko weightless. In the GRASS. If you need anything else.

Fished the bass splash Saturday I stayed south in the Sandy creek buck bay area trying to avoid a mess of boats in more popular locations but it was still a boat show lol caught 6 in the 2 to 3lb range on watermelon red brush hogs hitting brush in about 5 ft and caught 2 on a black poping frog runing it over grass tops a 4 and a 4.5lb. all fish caught within the first 2 hours of fishing after the sun got up bites where hard to come by the 4.5 had me in 11th for a bit but soon got bumped out o well it was fun and a nice day
