5fishlimit Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 I've read several posts about people getting fantastic customer service from companies like Pure Fishing, Shimano, Mega Strike, etc and today I have to add Duckett to that list. I finally got around to trying to register the two rods I bought in March and June of this year. (I know... bad job on me) I couldn't find one of the registration cards, so I went to their site and sent a message inquiring about getting one to complete. Seeing that it was Saturday afternoon I didn't expect a reply until Monday. About 5 minutes later I got a response back from somebody named Sean from his iPhone. Even better was Sean asked me for the model #'s, where and when I bought them, and said he would take care of the registration process for me. These little things a company will do are what keeps me a customer for life. I see a pattern of phenomenal service in the fishing industry. Quote
Super User rockchalk06 Posted September 8, 2013 Super User Posted September 8, 2013 Amen! Someone willing to bend over backwards for you is gold in my book. Quote
JeziHogg Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 St Croix also has excellent customer service. Quote
Koofy Smacker Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Wouldnt be a bad idea to put a sticky at the top of the boards on our relations with companies from a customers point of view in terms of their customer service. While I havent had to deal with Duckett I have had GREAT, over the top experiences with: -St. Croix (These guys will do anything to help you and everyone in the company is a class act) -SPRO (Broke the bill off of a little john. They told me to sent it back and they sent me 2 new ones promptly) -T-H Marine (broke the G-Force handle, I asked how to get a replacement and the very next day I had a whole new handle, cable and all on my door, over 1000 miles away!) -Bagley has terrible CS though. Had 4 cranks crack before they saw water and never even heard a response from them. Quote
CRANKSTER Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Koppers Live Target. Had a bluegill with the paint chipping on the first use of it. Contacted them and they took good care of the problem. ***. Emailed them about a rod and had a response within an hour from 2 seperate employees. Good service in my book. Quote
