Hi All:

Just wanted to say hello to all of you here and tell you how I got started with the sport (for some of us it's an addiction LOL) we call Fishing.

My Dad was an avid fisherman all his life.. Ever since my first major fishing trip in 1975 to The Outer Banks of North Carolina I have loved the sport with a deep respect, passion, and commitment. As a young boy I was mesmerized by my father's fanaticism and his attention to detail of his methods of presentation. He is what you might call a "purist" and only uses artificial lures to hunt his quarry, the stripped bass. His rod's were custom made and he designed his own lures, mostly surface plugs and a stripped bass terminator he called “The Deep Six ".

In 1988 I got involved in fresh water fishing following in Dad's footsteps as a purist. The difference being my sport fish of choice was set against a backdrop of pines, maples, and oaks in upstate New York, the elusive largemouth & smallmouth bass. As you might have guessed, my lure of choice was the spinnerbait. My one area of contention with most of the spinnerbaits produced at the time were very generic and poorly matched most of the common forage species throughout the United States. I started making my own for myself. Family and friends liked them so much I started making them for them as well.

Regards,

Spinnervin
