Super User Jigfishn10 Posted January 28, 2014 Super User Posted January 28, 2014 Time to start working on the menu. Anyone have something extra special you would like to share? I'm working the next day and will be up @ 4:00 AM so I'm watching it at home with the family, so I think we'll be making chix parm calzones. Still up in the air on appetizers...my daughter wants loaded potato skins. Quote
Super User Teal Posted January 28, 2014 Super User Posted January 28, 2014 Time to start working on the menu. Anyone have something extra special you would like to share? A few buddies that I play softball with have decided to have seafood this year. Crawfish and Sausage boil, oysters, bbq shrimp and heard rumor of some stuffed flounder and crab cakes! I'm sure we will be able to make a few dollars off of aluminum cans at the recycling center on the following monday also... 1 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted January 28, 2014 Super User Posted January 28, 2014 Time to start working on the menu. Anyone have something extra special you would like to share? This was just shared publicly on Google+, looks absolutely delish: Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake Ingredients: 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 3 eggs 6 ounce of sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 (16.5-ounce) rolls refrigerator chocolate chip cookie dough (keep refrigerated until needed) Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. 2. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until well mixed; set aside. 3. Slice cookie dough rolls into 1/4-inch slices. Arrange slices from one roll on bottom of a greased 9- x 13-inch glass baking dish; press together so there are no holes in dough. Spoon cream cheese mixture evenly over dough; top with remaining slices of cookie dough. 4. Bake 45 to 50 minutes, or until golden and centre is slightly firm. 5. Remove from oven, let cool, then refrigerate. Cut into slices when well chilled. If desired top with ice cream or whipped cream. 1 Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted January 28, 2014 Super User Posted January 28, 2014 I plan on using the smoker in full force with at minimum 2 racks of ribs, a small pork shoulder, sausage and maybe a brisket point and some jalapeño poppers...after that it doesn't even matter . I like meat with a side of meat for these types of occasions 2 Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 1, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 1, 2014 The 12th Man is loud, proud, and strong in Seattle! Never in the history of the Seahawks have I ever seen this city so galvanized and united. Sure, the fans were behind the 'Hawks in their last Superbowl appearance in 2006, but nothing compares to this. Nothing. A few examples.... And this one...it's the Expedia building in Bellevue. They took colored paper, taped it to the windows, to create a gigantic Richard Sherman on the side of the building. It’s the “pose” from the final play of the game against the 49’rs. That's just a very small smattering of how Seattle has gone bonkers. Well....not to be outdone, Boeing custom painted a 747....then flew it around.... And flew it around the state ....in this pattern: Impressive you say? Outrageous? Well...it turns out, it was part of a game of one upmanship between the CEO of Boeing and Seahawk owner Paul Allen. Paul Allen's response? "A 747 at 15,000 feet is pretty cool," he said, "but it's no space station at 230 miles above Earth." Advantage: Paul Allen. And yes, it really did happen. An astronaut waving the 12th Man flag in space. How did he manage that? Full story here: http://crosscut.com/2014/01/30/humor/118550/seahawks-12th-man-space-station-super-bowl/ Quote

Super User Jigfishn10 Posted February 1, 2014 Super User Posted February 1, 2014 Gonna be quite a game and I see this as a Titans/Rams type SB where the last play of the game a Seahawk receiver is stretching for the goal line...not quite getting there. Peyton gets #2! Quote

Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted February 2, 2014 Super User Posted February 2, 2014 You gonna be roid ragin when Peyton puts up 38 on em.Naw I'm watching dogs tonight! I wont know about the outcome til tomorrow at work. I was proactive with this one. After I broke the porch railing off and threw it in the parking lot after the Auburn game. We decided I have had enough excitement for a little while. That and enough fines. Quote
