Super User Teal Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Marshawn Lynch is probably on the same level as Chuck Norris. Haha. Won't be long before there are a bunch of corny one liners about him. Dude is a beast and one hell of a running back. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 His claim to fame other than the earthquake run is how he goes into beast mode....isn't that from that video game altered beast from way back in the day?? Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 bad play to end a game for the saints. perfect for the hawks. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted January 12, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 12, 2014 Perfect ending to the game! Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Perfect ending to the game! Not a fan of either team, but what was that fool thinking? Step out of bounds, and give Brees a chance to throw one more time to the end zone. One of the all time bonehead end of the game plays IMHO. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 The Seahawks are not quite as invincible at home as people first though. Whoever wins the Carolina San Fran game will give them everything they can handle. Quote
Super User Catt Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Serious! The Saint spotted the Hawks 3 quarters & they barely won! Quote
bassh8er Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Serious! The Saint spotted the Hawks 3 quarters & they barely won! But they won; only thing that matters now. Brees looked as bad as I can remember; was it too loud there to look at the play clock? Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted January 12, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 12, 2014 'Hawks defense played a near-perfect game, holding the NFL's best tight end (Graham) to only 1 reception. No other NFL team has done that...ever. My only critique is that they didn't intercept the ball. With a league-leading number of interceptions, I've kinda come to expect it. Hats off to Brees. The offense, on the other hand, looked anemic. Lynch was the only bright spot in an otherwise pathetic offensive attack. The passing game didn't show up. They definitely need to step up and match their defensive counterparts if they want to win the Superbowl this year. Quote
Super User tomustang Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 I see the cheatriots are winning. Oh look brazill runs in for a touchdown and gets tackled afterwards how appropriate Quote
Super User tomustang Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 No call on tripping the qb, no call on pass interference. Yeah this game ain't fixed 1 Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Andrew ran out of Luck. A-Jay Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Congrats to the Seahawks , looking forward to tomorrow , Colts I thought would play a little better , but OBVIOUSLY the pats had a secret running game no one knew about lol !! Defiantly put a hurtin on one of the worst run defenses I have seen for a team in the play offs . Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Seahawks looked tired today. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted January 12, 2014 Author Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Brady is amazing, but I don't think he can do it all by himself. Two to go. Quote

Liked the first half of the Hawks game...second half was in cruise mode!! We'll see who they play after Sunday. Maybe all the experts will be suprised!! Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Brady is amazing, but I don't think he can do it all by himself. Two to go. luckily they ran for 6 tds 1 Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Brady is amazing, but I don't think he can do it all by himself. Two to go. Watching his interview after the game , it was good to see him humbled just a bit , at least that's what I picked up , he has worked pretty hard over his career and has been the dominating factor for so long , to me , he seemed , well , not himself rather just another important part of a team for once , I don't get the chance to sit and watch much TV and maybe this running game is something I have been missing but It was good to see him doing things outside of the norm and do them well too . Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 I wanna get these in the Dallas scheme for the wife , I'd bet she will love me forever !!! LOL !!! Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Brady is amazing, but I don't think he can do it all by himself. Two to go. Granted the Colts run D is not exactly Stout, but still Six TD's scored and Zero TD Passes ~ I'd say the running game was pulling it's weight in this one. A-Jay Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Interesting that two teams won in consecutive weeks by utilizing what was thought to be a non-existent running game; first the saints and now the cheatriots. Hopefully today's games are a little more entertaining and i think this first one absolutely will be a slugfest. I am still amazed that it is already week 2 of the playoffs....seems like i was just watching RGme press conferences on the local richmond news Quote
