Super User iabass8 Posted January 5, 2014 Super User Posted January 5, 2014 Good job you jinxed him!. Hopefully he's okay. An injury prone RB goes the whole season with a monster workload unfazed and then goes down the first drive in the first playoff game. I have a feeling he comes back. Either way davis is a very good backup. Chiefs are looking good. Night game :Eagles by 10 OR saints by 2. The former being the most likely scenario. called it 1 Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted January 5, 2014 Super User Posted January 5, 2014 Special teams really hurt the birds last night with that last kickoff taking the cake. Even with all the other problems like cooper's drop on 3rd down or the overturned fumble they still had the lead with 4 minutes to go and the kickoff and subsequent penalty put the saints where they only had to get what, 20 yards to be in field goal range. Better season than i anticipated and I do think they will get even better next year if they can get a safety and a new kicker. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 5, 2014 Author Super User Posted January 5, 2014 So, Broncos vs San Diego...whodda thunk it? Unless you're a Chargers fan, this game against Cincinnati was soooooo boring. Packers vs 49ers has potential. 1 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted January 5, 2014 Super User Posted January 5, 2014 It is a good thing i am not a gambling man because i would be 0-3 right now Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 5, 2014 Author Super User Posted January 5, 2014 I'm a little surprised at all the "they're the best" at this or that. If either team were so great they would not be playing this weekend. I expect a little more from my favorite commentators. The best players are warm and toasty, sipping on a brew and eating pizza! 2 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted January 6, 2014 Super User Posted January 6, 2014 all in all it has been a pretty exciting wild card weekend. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 6, 2014 Author Super User Posted January 6, 2014 You bet! However, I think this is the end of the Wild Cards. Quote
5dollarsplash Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 It has. Tough for us both FlyFisher, but good games. I think we're in for some of the best playoff games in a long while. Quote
Super User tomustang Posted January 6, 2014 Super User Posted January 6, 2014 Call it a hunch but i figured the birds wouldn't go far. I hope foles stays where he is at and vick warms the bench for him Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted January 6, 2014 Super User Posted January 6, 2014 Foles will be the starter for years to come and i would love to keep vick as the backup. San Fran got healthy at the right time and could beat up on carolina next week for sure, Next week should be just as fun.... Quote

Super User Teal Posted January 6, 2014 Super User Posted January 6, 2014 No. Just 3 of them. The colts won at home Quote
Jaheff Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Gooo Niners! Im a Niner's fan through and through...They had better get their stuff together tho.Two offensive time outs in third quarter? Lucky it didn't bite them this round. Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 6, 2014 Super User Posted January 6, 2014 49'ers and $80,000 Sham Newton should be a great game. The Saints now know what they have to do in Seattle so that is going to be a good game, too. Exciting times in the NFL! 1 Quote

Saints gonna need to pack a lunch. Its funny, Cam has done nothin but grow as a player, become more humble, become a leader, and one hell of a clutch player...especially in the 4th quarter, and he still can't out run the silly names and lables. I've been as critical as anyone on Cam but he has made a beleiver out of me. I'm really excited to see this young man grow as a player and a person. Really excited about this game. It should be a slug fest. Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted January 6, 2014 Super User Posted January 6, 2014 Go Go Go Seattle. Hope I'm fishing Saturday but would also like to watch game. Weather will tell!! Quote
