BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 31, 2013 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 31, 2013 I don't think they should be talking to coaches and staff members of other teams about jobs until the superbowl is over. Seems like a major distraction for teams in the playoffs if a member of their coaching staff is interviewing somewhere else. At the very least, keep it quiet until after the superbowl. Quote

Which hurts a lot of would be candidates at times...I remember it hurt a couple of the Patriots coordinators a few years back...I know, you don't care about the "cheatriots"...LMAO!!!! Quote

Parcells did it during the Bowl when the Pack beat the Pats, it's not fair to the team or the fans. Quote

You are right i don't care about the cheatriots It has hurt the Eagles too since they have lost a lot of coordinators over the years, some of which went on and won superbowls themselves.... Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 31, 2013 Author Super User Posted December 31, 2013 I think y'all that still have a chance are going to have a VERY exciting weekend! It's an uphill battle, but Wildcards have won in the past. Perhaps the most unlikely winner was the Giants beating the undefeated Patriots in Eli's first Super Bowl. Quote

What difference does it really make ? These guys , ( for the most part ) are professional , they got their respective teams this far , if owners see an issue with talking to other teams then maybe they are worth paying a little extra to keep , I don't see it as a destraction , these guys have to act on the here and now or the positions they wish to have may be gone . They will fulfill their duties and take their teams as far as they can and do the best they can , it can only enhance their shot at a head coach or whatever the opening may be . Quote
Super User Teal Posted January 1, 2014 Super User Posted January 1, 2014 d**n....tickets sold out in minutes so i am out of luck unless i want to spring or $200 a pop tickets in the resale world....i think i am going to wait and see the result of this game and maybe make a road trip to carolina should they play them there . About 7000 tic go on sale in charlotte Tmw at 1000am. They are expected tonlast about 20 mins. I'm probably gonna take my chances trying to fond them at the stadium. Hopefully things work out and we both make the game. As for Glens comment, I agree I hate that there are coaches that are prepping for the playoffs and interviews... Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted January 1, 2014 Super User Posted January 1, 2014 WHO DAT! I just hope their complete lack of ability to win on the road and in cold weather continues.....should be some points scored though at the very least. Quote

Today couldn't have come faster. Not only do I have the flu, I have an excuse not to leave the man cave couch while the woman serves me dinner. Indy vs KC starts soon. Should be a super good game. Oh and then there's that philly vs NO game tonight..but who really cares about that game. The more I think about it, the more I can really see philly pulling this off tonight. Would love to see Indy vs Den next week too. 1 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted January 4, 2014 Super User Posted January 4, 2014 Nobody expected philly to be here, including the biggest homer in the world, me. They are playing loose with low expectations so i really hope they keep it going and can pull out a win tonight. Got my shaved ribeye, onions, hot peppers and cheese ready to go for some cheesesteaks Quote
Super User tomustang Posted January 4, 2014 Super User Posted January 4, 2014 You better have to some good bread to go with that Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted January 4, 2014 Super User Posted January 4, 2014 Andrew Luck is such a smart, well spoken, articulate guy but there is just something about him that screams " I'm a Pud " that makes me root against him. 1 Quote

Super User Jigfishn10 Posted January 4, 2014 Super User Posted January 4, 2014 Should be some great games to watch today, any predictions? For me, I see a cold game in Philly, but Brees will be hot...WHO DAT by 3 The Chiefs and Colts should be a great game...the Colts by 7 Enjoy the games all! Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted January 4, 2014 Super User Posted January 4, 2014 Eagles by 10 with a late TD in a close game. Chiefs will win behind charles and a rejuvenated defense and Reid is pretty good in the first round Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 4, 2014 Super User Posted January 4, 2014 The road to the Super Bowl is covered in snow, at this time!!!! Geaux Saints! Geaux Packers! Quote

Chiefs will win behind charles and a rejuvenated defense and Reid is pretty good in the first round Good job you jinxed him!. Hopefully he's okay. An injury prone RB goes the whole season with a monster workload unfazed and then goes down the first drive in the first playoff game. I have a feeling he comes back. Either way davis is a very good backup. Chiefs are looking good. Night game :Eagles by 10 OR saints by 2. The former being the most likely scenario. 1 Quote
Super User tomustang Posted January 4, 2014 Super User Posted January 4, 2014 So are the colts going to show up? Quote
