Super User flyfisher Posted January 6, 2014 Super User Posted January 6, 2014 Knowing what you have to do and being able to do it are two different things. Saints gonna need to pack a lunch. Its funny, Cam has done nothin but grow as a player, become more humble, become a leader, and one hell of a clutch player...especially in the 4th quarter, and he still can't out run the silly names and lables. I've been as critical as anyone on Cam but he has made a beleiver out of me. I'm really excited to see this young man grow as a player and a person. Really excited about this game. It should be a slug fest. I agree about Cam....in the pros he really hasn't had any issues other than improving every year. GOnan be some good games and Carolina/San Fran will be good....well and the other games too Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted January 6, 2014 Super User Posted January 6, 2014 Agreed. Exciting games next weekend for sure! Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted January 6, 2014 Super User Posted January 6, 2014 Sam being a college football fanatic and If I know Sam well enough, I believe that comment was in reference to Cam's college career and not Pro. Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted January 10, 2014 Super User Posted January 10, 2014 my picks would vary depending on how much money is involved Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 10, 2014 Author Super User Posted January 10, 2014 I understand "beating the spread" when you are betting, but that doesn't have anything to do with advancing in the play-offs. Right now it's one and done. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted January 10, 2014 Super User Posted January 10, 2014 Saints, 49ers, Patriots & Chargers Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 10, 2014 Super User Posted January 10, 2014 Seahawks because of home game , still should be a VERY interesting game . Going with the Colts for the upset , I think everyone is underestimating the Colts , they have been doing well on the road . Going with the 49ers in Carolina , Cam just does not have that playoff experience that 49ers do , but should make it an interesting game to watch , I think this is probably the best match-up of the weekend . Bronco's should win at home , the Chargers are playing but not well enough to contend , Bronco's advance . Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted January 10, 2014 Super User Posted January 10, 2014 Regardless of who wins, were in for some great football this weekend. Goooo Niners! Quote
tnbassfisher Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Peyton and Co. won't lose to the Chargers again. Especially after having two weeks to prepare. Quote
Super User Teal Posted January 10, 2014 Super User Posted January 10, 2014 Seahawks, Panthers, Broncos, Colts. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted January 10, 2014 Super User Posted January 10, 2014 Seahawks-no brainer 49s /w all the healthy receivers they have now should be able to upset carolina Patriots-They will just find a way to win and like i said above, andrew luck is a pud who as of late is "romo-ing" every game and only showing up for half of it. Broncos-chargers will keep trying to rely on their "keep manning off the field and run the ball 35 times" and throw maybe 18 pass plays even when behind. doubt it works again. Quote

Luck already has the same amount of playoff wins as romo in 2 seasons and is 1-1 and Romo is 1-3 i think in ten seasons....comparing those two is silly. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted January 11, 2014 Super User Posted January 11, 2014 I think you misread what i typed out or didn't read it at all. I said "as of late is "romo-ing" every game and only showing up for half of it. " Romo is notorious for only playing really well in either the first half or the second half of a game.....something andrew luck has been doing...as of late. Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted January 11, 2014 Super User Posted January 11, 2014 You are thinking November...24-5 and in december i think it is 13-20. He also has had the chance the past three seasons to win the division on the last week of the season and has come up short each time. Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 11, 2014 Super User Posted January 11, 2014 nevermind... LOL !! but why ??? Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted January 11, 2014 Super User Posted January 11, 2014 Some great games scheduled this weekend, 3 0f the four games should be real entertaining in my opinion: Saint/Hawks: Who Dat in an upset 27-24 Colts/Pats: High scoring and down to the wire - Pats by 3 49ers/Panthers: Would love to see the Panthers advance, but they're a year away - Niners by a Touchdown Chargers/Broncos: Not even close, Broncos by 2 TD's Quote

Super User Catt Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Seahawks aint the good!!! The Aints were bad!!! Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 The seahawks defense is good and brees isn't good on the road. If the seahawks don't win it all it will not be because of their defense but rather their offense...oh and Lynch, that guy really is a beast. He runs angrier than Petersen. Quote
