Super User deaknh03 Posted November 30, 2013 Super User Posted November 30, 2013 I agree on this one even though i cannot stand the patriots. Although if it wasn't for a fluke play the game would have probably ended up in a tie the way things were going. If you were gonna guess, who has a better regular season record manning or brady? Super User flyfisher Posted November 30, 2013 Super User Posted November 30, 2013 If you were gonna guess, who has a better regular season record manning or brady? that is a tough one but i would say Brady simply because I cannot remember to many bad seasons from the patriots. Their division has been extremely weak for many many years which translates to some easier wins. Also manning came in to a horrible team and had a few rough seasons while the team was being built while brady came in to a team that was already a playoff team. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted November 30, 2013 Super User Posted November 30, 2013 If you were gonna guess, who has a better regular season record manning or brady? I think Manning does and don't they both trail Farve ? This is interesting. A-Jay http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com/content/brady-vs-manning-the-definitive-nfl-quarterback-rivalry/24894/ Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted November 30, 2013 Super User Posted November 30, 2013 Brady is the only qb to ever be 100 wins above 500 at any time during his career. Manning has a couple more wins but more losses as well. Quote

A-Jay http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com/content/brady-vs-manning-the-definitive-nfl-quarterback-rivalry/24894/ good article. Regular season it really is a flip of the coin between the two. Postseason it is hard to argue against Brady. Quote

Postseason it is hard to argue against Brady. Regular season is not a "flip of the coin" between them, Brady is 10-4 against Manning in the regular season, all big games. I don't think its blind luck that Brady dominates him to that extent. If your talking about yards, td's, int's, they don't matter. Wins, especially head to head with these guys. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted November 30, 2013 Super User Posted November 30, 2013 Head to head is different than regular season performance in general as was the original question you posted. If you were gonna guess, who has a better regular season record manning or brady? Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted November 30, 2013 Super User Posted November 30, 2013 Head to head is different than regular season performance in general as was the original question you posted. True. Brady has a significantly higher win % against the league as a whole than Manning, and against him head to head. Better QB period, big game or not. Quote

Statistically speaking he doesn't.....but we won't get into that mess. Brady has a 77.4% and Manning has a 69.4% so yes it is better but no it isn't dominant. Quote

This year it will come down to Denver or the Pats playing in the bowl. Home field will help, but Brady is just a better big game qb than Manning, so I say Pats, even though they are decimated at key positions. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted November 30, 2013 Super User Posted November 30, 2013 Home field will be huge for sure for whoever gets it. I also wouldn't completely write off the Chiefs just yet or even the Ravens at this point. Quote

Super User deaknh03 Posted November 30, 2013 Super User Posted November 30, 2013 Maybe next year for the chiefs, Baltimore gave up too much last offseason, their D lost it's identity, plus Boldin was a big loss, and the TE going down hurt Flacco. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted November 30, 2013 Super User Posted November 30, 2013 I would have to agree with the Chiefs but it seems like the Ravens are getting hot at the right time. These last few weeks and the playoffs should be very entertaining Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 2, 2013 Author Super User Posted December 2, 2013 Broncos kicked some butt. Now it's all about getting ready for the play offs. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 2, 2013 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 2, 2013 Broncos will go to the playoffs simply because they'll win their weak division. KC will probably go too. But with the Colts and Patriots in their way, I doubt they'll go very far. 2 Quote
Super User Teal Posted December 2, 2013 Super User Posted December 2, 2013 Carolina rolls on boys! Gonna make for an interesting game against the Saints next Sunday night. Pulling for the Seahawks Tmw night. Quote
preach4bass Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Weak division? The AFC West has more wins than any other division in the NFL right now. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted December 2, 2013 Super User Posted December 2, 2013 Don't forget about the Eagles They just really need to quit this run up a big lead and then let the other team back in it to make interesting deal. Next week will tell a lot since they play the lions who have a strong front line and Calvin Johnson. Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted December 2, 2013 Super User Posted December 2, 2013 Looking for a good game tonight with Seahawks...I hope Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 3, 2013 Author Super User Posted December 3, 2013 Should be a GREAT game! Seattle is always overlooked. I wish they were still AFC West. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 3, 2013 Author Super User Posted December 3, 2013 The Sea Hawks put a hurt'n on the Saints last night. Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted December 3, 2013 Super User Posted December 3, 2013 Oh my gosh...yes they did. They looking awesome!!!! Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 3, 2013 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 3, 2013 If anybody has been following the Hawks for the past 2 years, they wouldn't be surprised by the win. 14 hometown wins in a row - 22 if you include pre-season. Oh, btw - the crowd noise set yet another Guinness record. 137.6 decibels! Not in our house! Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted December 3, 2013 Super User Posted December 3, 2013 That seattle secondary is nasty...plain and simple. And as far as the decibel record goes, didn't arrowhead break the seattle record earlier this year that was then broken again by seattle last night? I hope parents of kids put some ear protection on them..... Quote
