Super User A-Jay Posted October 14, 2013 Super User Posted October 14, 2013 As a NE Patriots fan ~ there have been some real Highs but more recently, some real Lows. But yesterday's last second come from behind win at home over the NO Saints was definitely a High. This wasn't Brady's best performance. But his 17 yard TD pass with seconds left will go down as one of the most memorable regular-season throws of his career. His eight-play, 70-yard touchdown drive in only 1:08 will go down as one of the best drives of Brady's career. A-Jay Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted October 14, 2013 Super User Posted October 14, 2013 49ers played well yesterday. One could hope. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted October 17, 2013 Author Super User Posted October 17, 2013 Peyton is coming back to Indy this Sunday. I'm sure this will be very emotional. He loved the Colts and the people of Indiana. I'll bet there will be a lot of #18 jerseys in blue & white! 1 Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted October 21, 2013 Author Super User Posted October 21, 2013 A bump in The Road... The Broncos could have won that game if they scored more points and hadn't run out of time! Congratulation to the Colts. 1 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted October 21, 2013 Super User Posted October 21, 2013 Manning looke a little frazzled at first but once he settled down he was fine but like you siad, not enough time left. How about those Chiefs though....they look to be the real deal and Luck, well he is something special. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 21, 2013 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 21, 2013 Yea, Denver dominates weak teams. They've had it pretty easy so far with a soft schedule. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do against good teams later on in the season. And now we know. I rest my case. And KC barely beat a mediocre injury-riddled team. And that's the strongest opponent they've had all season. 1 Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted November 12, 2013 Author Super User Posted November 12, 2013 Are you ready to rumble? The match-up and the biggest game so far this season. Is it Sunday Night Football or another Thrilla in Manilia? Kansas City at Denver! They say Manning is "questionable", but I know he wants this game and he will play. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted November 13, 2013 Global Moderator Posted November 13, 2013 Just 5 more days until Don Shula and the boys from the '72 Dolphins can pop that bottle of champagne! Quote

Super User Teal Posted November 18, 2013 Super User Posted November 18, 2013 Don't really know how to predict the outcome of this game. Alex smith and co. better be on the A game.. I think their defense can keep it close, but this game will be decided by which Alex smith shows up and how they are able to run the ball and keep Peyton on the sidelines. I guess I will make a pick.... Gonna go with the Broncos mainly because they are at home. Up next is my Carolina Panthers hosting NE Tmw night. That's gonna be good game too. Its nice for my boys to be relevant once again. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted November 18, 2013 Super User Posted November 18, 2013 Carolina is going to put a hurting on Brady. And how many teams have a bye week then a monday night game.....seems like some favoritism going on there giving them an extra day. And for the record it might happen with other teams too but i cannot stand the cheatriots so i will call this one out Oh....and how about those Eagles?? Foles looks like he might be the Eagles QB of the future and the skins....well they are toast and will be mediocre for years to come since they have no first round draft picks for the next three years when they traded them away for RGIII aka the crybaby diva Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 18, 2013 Super User Posted November 18, 2013 So much for Manning being hurt! KC's defense? Who Dat vs Seahawks...MVP...Rob Ryan! Quote

Super User Teal Posted November 25, 2013 Super User Posted November 25, 2013 Choo chooo!! The Carolina train continues to roll on!! Sorry folks, but the bandwagon is full. Lol. On a serious note. I think the Panthers underestimated Miami and overestimated themselves going into that contest and it nearly bit them. The Broncos are pouring it on tonight... I know RW is pleased so far Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted November 25, 2013 Super User Posted November 25, 2013 Carolina has a nasty D-Line for sure. I just wish the stupid cowboys would have stuck to their norm and blow a game late......it would have for one, left the Eagles at the top of the division and two would have given me a 3 game cushion in my on pick 'em league and put within 2 of the lead in another. Super User tomustang Posted November 25, 2013 Super User Posted November 25, 2013 Speaking if cheatriots, how do you lose when your up 24-0 at halftime? Oh yeah spygating Quote
preach4bass Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Speaking if cheatriots, how do you lose when your up 24-0 at halftime? Oh yeah spygating The results of this game had nothing to do with cheating, and everything to do with the Patriots owning Manning. On a side note, Manning has played in three "big" games this season (his return to Indy, the undefeated Chiefs, and the Pats rivalry). He is 1-2 in these "big" games, playing sub-par ball in the two losses. I love Manning, and want to see him win another Super Bowl, but this just reeks of Manning going Manning again with a great regular season, only to shrink away come playoff time. I hope not, but if past performance is indicative of future results, this season will end in disappointment for Manning and the Broncos. I've just got this bad feeling that at the end of the year, Tim Tebow will still have one more playoff win as the Bronco's quarterback than Manning. Quote

I agree on this one even though i cannot stand the patriots. Although if it wasn't for a fluke play the game would have probably ended up in a tie the way things were going. Quote
