Hey guys, just wanted to give a shout out to Mike at Siebert outdoors. Last week I got in touch with him about some jigs. I informed him that I am new to jig fishing and didn't know what I wanted or needed. He was willing to put together a kit of his most popular jigs along with some Rage Craws and I must say that I am impressed with the quality of these jigs. Up until now I had only had access to mainly Strike King and Booyah jigs but have noticed they were really lacking in quality, between poor paint and skirts breaking after one day they were trashed. Mike's are all wire tied with a better weed guard and a much fuller skirt. I am excited to try them out this weekend and I will report some results. If anyone is on the fence about ordering from Mike, go for it. You will not regret it.

Now for the problem I have.. I have all of these new jigs but need some way of organizing them. How do you guys organize your jigs?

Good to hear Mike took care of you. He did the same for me when I ordered from him. His customer service is the reason why I visit his site FIRST when I'm looking to stock up on jigs!

Ive caught fish on EVERY jig Ive bought from Mike. They look great after many many fish. Just a high quality, fairly priced, hand made product.

You folks should try out his spinner baits as well.  Same quality as the jigs.

Mike also hooked me up with the colors I wanted to try too. I order colors in every weight. I have been looking for quality jigs too. When Mike posted his holiday sale and some of you guys said his stuff is awesome I placed nine orders. I'm still interested in other styles of jigs he offers too. I have plenty of spots that I can jig fish from shore. I have rocky points, drop offs, deep weeds deep holes and channels to play at.

I also need to talk with Mike about his spinner bait skirts too, I'm looking for bulkier spinner bait skirts for my micro and mini spinnerbaits. I been using the larger skirts that bulk up the size of my small spinnerbaits like a cat puffs up its fur to look bigger. It seems to work great so far. But I have a hard time finding the larger skirts now.

I've just been dropping mine in their own spaces in a Plano 3701. Seems ok so far. I try to air them out first to avoid putting them away when they're very wet.

One of my swim jigs stood up to a cat attack earlier. Top notch products.

I fish Siebert Outddors jigs exclusively. The Zenith shakeyheads are a fine product also!

Edit: Delcosol, as for storage, I keep 2 jig dedicated boxes and to make It simple for myself I label the Inside of each compartment with the weight of the jigs. I hope that helps.

Mikes jigs are slowly taking over my tackle bag.  Just put in another order yesterday, had a few questions and Mike answered them very promptly.  Can't recommend him highly enough.

Thank you all!!

For storage I use a few plano 3700's and put a jig in each little section.

I do the same, and on the plastic tabs I use a black sharpie to right the weight of the jig on the side of the box.

Got my order today, after a scheduled delivery yesterday due to a snafu at the post office, NO fault of Mike as the box is addressed perfectly. I contacted mike and he was very helpful and understanding, and kept in contact the whole time, even emailed me today and asked if I had been by the post office yet.

GREAT products and outstanding customer service. I work in customer service and help train new hires. THIS is how you handle customers and provide great service.

I see the need for a new tackle box or storage solution in my future!

Mike, you got any plans for some buzz baits in the future? Your skirts on a nice buzz bait frame would be amazing!

As I have many jigs, sizes and colors etc., I use 4" rubbermaid stackable containers (like plastic butter container) then place them in a Jig Bag... A BIG JIG BAG ;)

And BTW, Seibert Outdoor Jigs are second to NONE

I have never really put much thought into it.  I'll have to look into it.

Ditto on the 3700 plastic boxes for storage my monster soft sided boat bag if filled with the 3700 boxes. It has everything in it. When we rent a boat it's a one tackle bag grab and I have it all.

Thanks for the replies guys. I will check out some of those boxes and see what will work.

I went and got to use my new jigs today and they didnt disappoint. Best fish of the day on 1/2 oz blue craw at 3lb 10oz

Besides the 3700 plastic containers they do offer deeper ones now too. You can fit more into one compartment. I do like my jigs in rows of each size and color. Fishing at night has made me a tackle box neat freak.

The deeper plastic storage box is the 3780 if you search for brannans bass shop they have it in there storage section. I just purchased these for my carolina weights and hooks. I also have one 3700 for my carolina assembly parts.(beads, weedless, hooks, swivels, snap swivels) I can grab one storage box on my work table to assemble them and zip loc bag them. Just my ideas thrown out there. These gals/guys there seem to stock the culprit worms too. They seem to be drying up all over.

But I don't mix different colors of skirts, I'm Leary because I had plastics bleed together when different colors are mixed together in the past but I'm not sure if it applies to skirts.

Mike is a very good friend of mine. As a matter of fact, i only live about a mile and a half from him. So, needless to say, I have a large selection of Siebert Outdoors products. I have jigs in all colors and sizes. spinnerbaits, plastics. I like to use his jig heads for fishig with chomper type baits alot in the spring. But my #1 favorite thing i get from him is Shakey heads. Espically the flat top football head.  The shakey head is my go-to bait and i haven't found a head that is even close to his.   I also get the privilage of testing some of the new designs and colors of his products before they hit the market. So you know he is constantly improving his product line with the things serious anglers demand.

I just received my three orders from him. I just took each one out of the package and looked at it. They look great. I think I have seven or eight more orders coming yet.

I'm going to hammer jigs and my bait caster setup till the ice is on.
