Super User rockchalk06 Posted September 4, 2013 Super User Posted September 4, 2013 Spinnerbaits? Anything that needs slow rolled. Remember it wasn't but 10 plus years ago all we could use were 5 gear reels. I used to fish jigs on one fore several years. Quote
JeziHogg Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 Ugh, I don't know why I bought so many of these winches, What gear ratio would be good for an A Rig Quote
moguy1973 Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Buzz baits althought it might be harder to keep them on the surface... Quote
Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted September 4, 2013 Super User Posted September 4, 2013 Haha!! I have no clue Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted September 4, 2013 Super User Posted September 4, 2013 Soft bodied swimbaits would be a nice match. Quote

Super User Jrob78 Posted September 4, 2013 Super User Posted September 4, 2013 Swimbaits and large, heavy spinnerbaits are the 2 main techniques I can think of. Quote
CTGalloway21 Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 hell Ambassadeurs were 5 gear ration and that is all I used growing up. Quote
JeziHogg Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 You could sell it to me! Sure, send me a PM its a left handed model, loaded with 10lb invisx and has Orange seal boca's Quote
TankBobcatWatts Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I use 1 winch for cranking and another winch for heavy cover heavy braid fishing... Can't beat that power out of the heavy stuff... Plus it helps slow down my retrieve when I get antsy 1 Quote
