Kowen117 Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Are they any good? How do they compare to the 4'' bbz? Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted August 12, 2010 Super User Posted August 12, 2010 i'm gonna venture a guess and say the suck, just like the rest of reaction strike's products. Quote
Kowen117 Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 Well the reviews said they were as good as the bbzs so I ordered it. I guess i will test it and let you all know Quote
gobig Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Early on I bought a few reaction strike shad when they first came out. I had to return one of the baits 3x's before I got one that swam straight. I have caught fish on the reaction strike but the action on these baits look more mechanical than the BBZ for sure. Meaning the BBZ has a much more fluid swimming motion. The BBZ falls horizontally in a spiralling motion and when popped will 180 much better. IMO the BBZ is a much better bait with a lot more capabilities. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted August 13, 2010 Super User Posted August 13, 2010 Have 2 shads and 2 bluegill. They all swim on their side at any speed above a slow crawl. The finishes aren't durable at all either. Quote

I guess i will test it and let you all know Just because they "as good as the bbz" doesnt make it a good bait. I'm not too fond of the BBZ shad either... :-/ Also, don't forget that ANYONE can write a review. You don't suppose that someone internally at RS may have typed up the review, do you? : Quote
Kowen117 Posted August 13, 2010 Author Posted August 13, 2010 True but I guess if it doesn't run right I return it and get a bbz Quote
HopelesslyAddicted Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 The BBZ is nasty. Honestly I can't believe anyone who has given them a fair shake doesn't like them! Just look at the monsters I catch on them! ;D That pic is just a joke but I also caught two 4lbers a 5lber and a 6 on that same day with the BBZ. Quote

There is a whole lot of that going on and just because you read it on the internet it doesn't make it so. Too often the person promoting that bait is compensated somehow. Quote
