Fishing has been great. I got into some good ones again today. I was able to cull my three smallest bass today

Cull #1

23 inch 6lb  5oz. Its too bad it was kind of skinny. If it had a gut it would have had some serious weight.

You are a beast man! What were you catching em on?

Posted

I have been catching them on a few different lures. It depends on the day and the situation. 8-5 was on a frog. 7-4,6-0, were on crankbaits.6-5 was on a jig.6-6 was on a rubber worm. Basically when I go out anywhere this time of year I have  a worm, jig, crankbait and frog tied on. At times I think its not the bait but where you put it that is more important.

Fishing was VERRRYYY tough!!! 8 fish limit, we had 4 with 10.99lbs... 1st place had 7 fish with 11.??... We really should have won but we qualified so that is good. A lot of teams came back empty handed or with 1 or 2 fish...

There were 35 teams I believe and top 11 qualify for the championship which is on Winnisquam Oct 5th...

The important part of keeping every fish.  Another 8 inch fish might have won it for you.

Man I wish my high school or even college had fishing teams and tournaments! But I went to school up in NJ so fishing was the last thing people were doing, I wish I grew up down south I'm sure that most high schools and some colleges have fishing teams

Good job guys 111" is crazy! All his fish were monsters ha. We just breaking the 100" mark down here in FL when it cools down we will be gunning for those high 100s

Keep up the good fishing guys good luck in the late run for first, if that's even a possibility down here Main would have won weeks ago lol
