Mainebass1984 Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Fishing has been great. I got into some good ones again today. I was able to cull my three smallest bass today Cull #1 23 inch 6lb 5oz. Its too bad it was kind of skinny. If it had a gut it would have had some serious weight. Cull #2 21.5 inch 6lb 6oz. She had some girth too her. Cull #3 21.25 inch 6lb 0z. After the culling my three smallest fish today my biggest 5 are 23.5,23,22.5,21.5,21.25 For a total of 111.75 inches 2 Quote

What were you catching em on? Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 I have been catching them on a few different lures. It depends on the day and the situation. 8-5 was on a frog. 7-4,6-0, were on crankbaits.6-5 was on a jig.6-6 was on a rubber worm. Basically when I go out anywhere this time of year I have a worm, jig, crankbait and frog tied on. At times I think its not the bait but where you put it that is more important. 3 Quote
mhtranger Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 That last one is a chunk. Where did you get em?? Quote

NEjitterbugger Posted September 26, 2013 Author Posted September 26, 2013 Fishing was VERRRYYY tough!!! 8 fish limit, we had 4 with 10.99lbs... 1st place had 7 fish with 11.??... We really should have won but we qualified so that is good. A lot of teams came back empty handed or with 1 or 2 fish... There were 35 teams I believe and top 11 qualify for the championship which is on Winnisquam Oct 5th... 1 Quote
