Temps have been in the 102-107 range all week. We are going 22 days without rain. No wind and no cloud cover. Needless to say its been "fun"

I walk outside around 2pm and it feels cool. Slight breeze, cloud cover and 95 degrees. I played bball for an hour and went on a jog.

It's the little things!

When I was deployed it was 120-130 the majority of the time. October-November came around it dropped to mid to low 90s and sweat shirts and hoodies were busted out because we were cold.

A buddy of mine had been deployed back in 2005 and said the same thing.

I've got friends from Hooper Bay Alaska that come down here in the fall and wear shorts and tank tops. The "heat" kills them lol

It finally made it to 100 degrees for the first time all summer and the weather people are all going on and on about the sweltering heat  :rolleyes7:  I can't think of another summer I would have given anything for it to only get to 95 for a high! Had a heck of a storm this morning though, knocked power off in the building for a minute with some of the heaviest rain I've seen in a long time and almost nonstop lightning flashes along with 50-60 mph winds. Thanks to our ever so accurate weather people and their 20% chance of light rain they were calling for, I left my windows cracked on my truck in the parking lot at work  :dazed-7:  It rained and blew so hard that I water all across the dash of my truck and bench seat and even on the inside of my windshield.

Its been rough here in northern va as well. One small rain shower in the past two months. Bluebird skies every day and 95 to 100 degrees. My favorite pond is 3 feet low and the bass aren't biting a thing. Can it be fall yet?
