I am a new member.  I used to fish quite often, then life got in the way.  I was active duty military for over 20 years.  Retired from military almost 10 years ago.  With job, family, and building a house, and then a divorce after over 20 years of marriage.... the fishing hobby went to the bottom of the priority list.

Now, kids are grown.  Discovered the love of a women who believes in only being with one man and the importance of shared activities as well as solo actvities.

I am getting back into fishing.  I have recently completely refurbished a 16' aluminum bass boat (Fisher Marine) that belonged to my grandfather.

I have been out of it for so many years.   I am trying to gain knowledge of equipment, lines, lures, and techniques used.  I have forgotten so much.  I used to fish Truman Lake in central MO.  I am located about 90 minutes north of Table Rock Lake, and 60 minutes south of Pomme de Terre Lake.

I loved flipping/pitching (pig and jigs) at Truman as well as topwater buzz baits in the early morning or later evening...lots of action.

Now I have the time and some money.... I am wanting to get back into the fold.
