my 12 year old was playing with some of my old stuff and he put a senko on a jig. and he said, "dad, you think theyd hit this?"

So what do i say? haha

yes it can

in aug flw mag it said senko has 10 different ways to rig it

one of them was jighead rig

try it maybe you will outfish other people because it shows different fall/presenation

I say have your kid mess around with some stuff. Maybe he will invent some new awesome rig? Ain't that the way the wacky rig was invented? Some guy didn't know how to rig a plastic worm so he hooked through the middle, and it looked a little....wACky

The greatest inventions/designs/innovations/discoveries in the history of mankind were/will be given to us by that very small and select gruop of people with inquisitive mind that does not settle with what 's given but with the audacity of asking .... What if ?.

It will work, and it has worked for me. I usually use a light jig and fish it more like a T-rigged senko than a jig. Gives the senko a bigger profile and more action with the flowing skirt.

As said a good trailer on a lighter bait, I have done it and whacked em on a finesse jig with a senko as a trailer

BPS has on it's shelves a bucktail jig with a worm trailer called a "snookball", I've used them for years, generally I just stick a trailer on one of my Wahoo flats jigs.  Works well for bass as well as other fish.
