Any one else have this problem

When ever I make a call or receive doesn't matter just use the phone like a phone and talk on the thing it randomly starts sending old messages to people. Like it will take 1 random text message from the middle of a conversation and re send it like 5 times or once it varies but its very annoying especially when it texts your ex wife 5 times that my mother will bring the kids by. its a iPhone 4 by the way and probably why it does it because apple products are the devil lol

Well speak of the devil. An apple commercial is on tv right now!

Anyway. That's what you get for buying an iPhone. Shouldn't have drank the Apple koolaid that Root beer has been pushing. Sell it and buy a Samsung. You'll thank me after you get one.

I don't have that problem, but my phone constantly calls random people. I have accidentally dialed 911 twice cause the phone has 911 as a permanent emergency contact and i "pocket dial" them.

Simple solution, lock the phone. Or don't keep it in the pocket.

I use the lock, but it just comes undone while in my pocket. I just need a new phone :cut:

I know what you mean. I had that problem with some of my old phones. My HTC called Kazakhstan from my pocket. It was all ones and zeros. Ended up costing me 30 d**n dollars. I wear em in a belt holster since that happened.

I'd probably do a factory reset if I was running into the same problem all the time.

Seriously? You go and bashed Apple, then turned around and complained about your phone that wasn't an Apple?!?!? My iPhone has never pocket dialed or unlocked itself. I don't wear no douchy looking hipbelt holster. :laugh5:

Anyhoo, is there an Apple store nearby, Clayton? If so they can do a diagnostic onsite and lead you in direction of fixing it. I don't know how much it would cost if phone out of warranty.

So...back on topic.

You should reboot your phone at least once a week - doesn't matter the brand or OS of the phone.  That solves a lot of problems.  They're much more like computers now, and every now and then need a restart to clear all the "gunk" out.

When was the last time you rebooted your phone?

My wife has a Droid.   Periodically she has to remove the battery, and reinstall it.

The phone will freeze, or do some other weird things.

I charge my phone while it's off, which is recommended for my phone, so it's getting rebooted often just like my PC.  Smart phones are constantly getting updates for many of the apps and os, I did a factory reset as I was having some minor issues, it's beautiful now.

After landing on a phone in my pocket after falling through a drop ceiling. Ill stick with my douchy construction worker holster.

Also I would sooner talk on a rock then use an Apple! :D

Oh, and HTC is even worse than Apple. As hard as that is to imagine. At least all mine were.

It would have been funnier if you had said you rather talk through plastic cups and string than a rock. At least this method would have been practical.
