Anyone ever think outside the box and throw baits for Bass that were mainly designed for saltwater fish. Example being the YUM Houdini Crab.

Says these can be customized by taking the claws and legs off and fishing it as a shrimp.

Think this would get bit if used in freshwater?

no hurt in trying...one thing to remember is to give new baits an honest shot. By that I mean don't try them when nothing else is working but rather when fish are active and current baits are working.

We  use GYBC baits like the flappin hog, Ika's ect to catch saltwater bay bass, and hali's..Also Huddleston huddlebugs work to, or any craw, or creature type bait, even 4" roboworms will get saltwater fish.
