I have been a lurker to the thread with some occasional post, and I am really disappointed FSU will have to face someone other than BAMA in the BCS Championship game.

 

Sorry Buckeye fans, but Ohio State, even though undefeated, should not even be in the top 5, I think Duke can take them!

The funny thing is, Missouri couldn't compete in the Big 12 and they join the "mighty" SEC and all of the sudden they have a chance to win the SEC championship. Assuming they can hold off another former Big 12 team in A&M. Lol, funny how things work.

Boy what can you say. Anything short of a national championship is a dissapointment among many tide faithful these days. Losing to Auburn just put salt in the wound to put it as light as I can. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict mutliple loses next season considering who they will lose to the draft, glory days where good while they lasted but last night was ominous.

Was suprosed to see Mizzou the early favorite today oveer Auburn.

Boy there is a tsunami brewing in the college football world if Ohio State takes care of business fairly easy against Mich St. next week.

I really think the Spartans have a great chance against the Buckeyes, if that is the case and Auburn can get lucky one more to beat Missouri, then it will be Auburn vs FSU in BCS title game, but like I said before that would be extremely disappointing since I think Auburn is a #5 team at best.

 

This is the scenario I hope for.  

 

Ohio State #2 loses to the Spartans #10 (Very possible, did you see lowly Michigan give the Buckeyes all they could handle?)

Missouri #5 ends Auburn's #3  God sent luck (50/50)

Alabama #4 sneaks into the number #2 spot

That is of course if FSU #1 beats Duke#20 (Highly unlikely Duke can compete, they don't have the same caliber of athletes or depth)

 

It would be a disgrace if FSU gets to the BCS championship and charges are brought against Winston effectively paralyzing the Noles.  Although many college football fans would be appalled justice needs to be served if in fact he is guilty. Real life is more important than any football game!

I disagree, not some much about the Noles fan base and $$$ from their part of the draw, but Ohio State is a top program when it comes to $$$ and fan base, thus it will draw ratings.

ESPN runs/ruins everything.

 

ESPN has the contract with the SEC.....so the money says a SEC will be there.

 

OSU will bring the fans so they probably get there too.
