Super User jbsoonerfan Posted October 14, 2013 Super User Posted October 14, 2013 That should have said late 00's typo. Reguardless of the win, Texas has been the biggest disappointment of the Big XII for a long time Vegas had OU by a long shot, I actually had money on OU too. The entire Big 12 has been a disappoinment for a long time. That includes OU. Outside of a NC by OU in 2000 and Texas in 05, the Conference hasn't done anything. There isn't another school in the Big 12 that has done anything so to speak. OU has had their chances since 2000 and they blew it everytime. Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted October 14, 2013 Super User Posted October 14, 2013 Excuse me but did you not pay attention? Texas whooped OU saturday! Nice try but like OU ya choked LSU is still in the title hunt while OU will be luckly to avoid 2 more losses! LSU might also be lucky to avoid 2 more losses. Quote
Ima Bass Ninja Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Only 2 undefeated sec teams left. Only one probably has a real chance of staying undefeated. A one loss sec team will not go to the NC if there are 2 other undefeated teams in other conferences. Personally I would rather see a clemson/fsu vs Oregon matchup. That would have the potential for some serious fireworks. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 17, 2013 Super User Posted October 17, 2013 We'll see... Bama doesn't have to play Mizzou until the SEC Championship game. The Tide might be up for it in the regular season. Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted October 17, 2013 Super User Posted October 17, 2013 I don't keep up with Mizzou or I haven't heard, but is Franklin going to be back soon? Quote
Super User Catt Posted October 17, 2013 Super User Posted October 17, 2013 Aint heard I got a feeling no one goes undefeated, that'll screw with the BCS! Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted October 17, 2013 Super User Posted October 17, 2013 Aint heard I got a feeling no one goes undefeated, that'll screw with the BCS! I think there will be at least 4 undefeated teams maybe 5. Bama, Oregon, Ohio State, Louisville and either Clemson/FSU. I really think Baylor could go undefeated, I just think they will slip up somewhere (won't be OU though) Oregon will get to the NC game if they are undefeated. If Bama is undefeated, it will be them. If an SEC team has 1 loss and Clemson or FSU are undefeated it will be them. I think Ohio State is next on the list if they remain undefeated and I think any one loss SEC team will get in before an undefeated Louisville team. Quote
Super User South FLA Posted October 18, 2013 Super User Posted October 18, 2013 Aint heard I got a feeling no one goes undefeated, that'll screw with the BCS! I think Oregon, Ohio or Clemson/FSU (we will know after Saturday) will go undefeated, weak schedules! Quote

Super User jbsoonerfan Posted October 20, 2013 Super User Posted October 20, 2013 LSU might also be lucky to avoid 2 more losses. Sorry, didn't realize Ole Miss was that good. Now LSU may have 4 losses. Quote
Ima Bass Ninja Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 LSU LSU LSU PLAYED STUPID I think I can chant the same thing for Clemson. Quote
Super User South FLA Posted October 22, 2013 Super User Posted October 22, 2013 I think I can chant the same thing for Clemson. FSU put them in a CLOWN suit Saturday night, which I or the entire nation wasn't expecting, FSU was a 3 point favorite prior to kick-off! Quote
Ima Bass Ninja Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 FSU put them in a CLOWN suit Saturday night, which I or the entire nation wasn't expecting, FSU was a 3 point favorite prior to kick-off! I agree. Clemson flat out got schooled on the field. Hope they can come back and prove they deserve their #9 ranking. If they continue to play the way they did though they will fall fast. FSU was really impressive. If FSU wins the NC do we get to claim it since we are in the ACC? Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted October 27, 2013 Super User Posted October 27, 2013 Well, looks like I was right about the SEC having to hope that once again they can ride the coat tails of Alabama. I guess that isn't a bad thing though. Especially when you are of the mentality that "when one of us wins, we all win" 1 Quote

gr8outdoorz Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I have to say I am shocked at how the second half went! Happy but shocked. ROLL TIDE!! Quote
Super User South FLA Posted November 14, 2013 Super User Posted November 14, 2013 SEC has too many injuries that plagued top contenders GA, SC, and a incredibly tough schedule of playing each other too often. Famous Winston may be brought down by an alleged SEX scandal, but lets hope his name is cleared by the State, since the local police department couldn't find anything. As an FSU fan I want to play the best team in the Country and its not Ohio so go BAMA, but I don't want to speak to soon, since FSU in years past has dropped a game to an un-ranked team. It would be nice to see Ohio vs Clemson or SC in a bowl game though and watch their doors get blown off. Same with Standford or Baylor vs Auburn or Clemson. Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 15, 2013 Author Super User Posted November 15, 2013 If all is OK with FSU it looks like it will be Bamasux and the Nimrods. That would be a fun game, like the Bamasux-Aggie game with a lot of scoring. Funny things have happened on the way to the BCS Championship game so stay tuned. Of course, the good news is that Florida is having a bad year. That brings a smile to my face. And keep your eyes and ears open. Lots of chatter about Satan going to Texass next year. If you want the story let me know via PM and I can PM or email it to you. Quote
preach4bass Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Is it the same story reported on by ESPN and every other sports media outlet (including our local sports radio talk dude in eastern North Carolina)? Quote
