1...his record was in a nose dive...when in a bind he bails!

Hold on cuz!  Y'all hired the man away from Mich. St. after he took them from a sub-.500 team to 9-2.  Turning a program around and going 9-2 isn't a "bind".  Then, after leading the Tigers to their first national championship in almost 50 years, he took a job with the NFL a season later.  Coaches who are in a "bind" don't land head coaching jobs in the NFL.  His NFL experience was the only thing that ever left him in a "bind".  Alabama fans are probably thankful that their administration recognized his talent for coaching on the college level.  With three national championships at Alabama and being in the running for another one this year, I hardly think he is in a "bind".  Come, on.  You know Les is less of a coach than Saban.  So, put your glass of hateraide down, and tell us how many national championships you honestly think he could have won you if he had stayed.

Miles is 3-3 against Saban!

Saban has had cupcake schedules @ Bama, look @ their 2013 schedule. Only 3 ranked team out of 12 games!

LSU plays 6 ranked out of 12 games!

LSU was 4-1 vs Bama when Saban was at LSU.  All I'm saying is that LSU was much more successful playing against a Mike Shula led Alabama team than they have been against Saban. So if Saban had stayed at LSU, it only stands to reason that LSU would have more championships simply because they would never have to play against him.

By the way, I completely understand your hatred towards Saban. If Bob Stoops ditched OU and ended up at Texas, I would feel the same way.

If Satan jumps for Texass the Bama folks will have to jump off bridges.

I can't see Satan leaving Bamasux but if he does I will not be surprised.

I think it hinges on the NCAA investigations and any future penalties that are invoked against Bamasux.

Saban @ Michigan St 34-24-1

Saban @ Miami 15-17

Geat job!

Les Miles is the most succesful head coach in nation against Nick. @ 3-3 LSU is more succesful against Bama than Saban was.

So the fact that Saban only plays 3 ranked teams out 12 games has nothing to do with his record.

And the fact that Les plays 6 ranked teams out of 12 games has nothing to do with his record.

How is 3-3 more successful than 4-1?

Also, are you actually saying that it is possible to have a weak strength of schedule in the SEC? Are you ready to admit that the SEC is top heavy? Be careful how you answer.

I knew I could count on Catt to throw out more useless numbers than one can imagine. Bottom line is Saban put LSU on the map. Now, you don't like him because he left. So you probably had to throw all your Nick Saban fan club stuff away and get all new Les Miles fan club stuff. Nothing like a scorned lover.

LSU

2005 11-2 Not even an SEC championship

2006 11-2 Not even an SEC championship

2007 11-2 SEC & BCS champion

Might as well not even have mentioned 2005 & 2006. Once again trying to use numbers that don't equal championships is pointless.

You throw out his record at Mich. St. as evidence that he is a lousy coach.  Yet, y'all hired him based on his performance at Mich. St., and then he came and turned your program around.

Who cares how weak his schedule is if he keeps winning national championships.  You don't win national championships without at least beating a couple of great teams along the way.

Who's 4-1?

Absolutely the SEC is top heavy but they still have 6 or 7 teams in the top 25 which is more than any conference.

Bama 2013

V-Tech - weak

T A&M - 9th ranked

Colorado St - weak

Ole Miss - 21 st ranked

Georgia St - weak

Kentucky - weak

Arkansas - weak

Tennessee - weak

LSU - 6th ranked

Miss St - weak

Chattanooga - weak

Auburn - weak

Man, you're like a puppy that just won't learn. Arguing with an LSU fan is a lot like arguing with a woman. Even if you're correct the woman refuses to believe it and will keep saying she is right. Just go hunting, my friend.

Doolittle, when we talk about "powerhouse" conferences we have to understand that today it is the SEC. In days gone by it was the Old Big 12 and Big 10. So all of us SEC guys and gals are going to hoop and holler a lot while we are on top.

When we talk about conferences we always look at the top teams. Each conference has clunkers and sometimes some of the big name teams don't perform as expected year in and year out (Texas, USC, Miami, Michigan) while others that were on the bottom of their conference food chain all of a sudden are competing for a BCS slot (Louisville, Rutgers, Oregon).

We are saying that our top SEC schools can defeat the top schools in other conferences. Of course, there are upsets, like Clepson's win over Jawja. But year in and year out the SEC's top schools have proven themselves against the top teams in other conferences when they play.

So not all SEC teams will defeat their out of conference opponents all of the time. Just most of the time, like 95% of the time.

The SEC football conference is the strongest conference

Most likely the SEC champion will be the BCS champion

Nevertheless, it is possible for a non-SEC conference team to get lucky and win the 2013 BCS championship.

No arguing with that unless you are hallucinating.

So I say to the SEC supporters than

"GO NOLES!

GO BUCKEYES!

GO CLEMSON!

GO DUCKS!"

Down with Sab(t)an

Down with LSU

and Down with Texas A&M!

I wish the SEC the worst of luck and the contenders the best, how about that!

In other words.....  Go Hogs!  We still have aTm this week, Bamasux and LSwho in our schedule and would never get a bid for the NC even if we won all 3 of those.........

Just say it one time for me!     WPS!!!!

And doesn't it drive you crazy when their last comment is "Whatever".

I'm just glad LSU is finally playing a decent opponent. The game vs Georgia should show where' they stand this year. Personally I think the Dawgs will get the win and quite possibly show out against ole LSU.

Don't worry Catt, you can brag about a good record again this year and still have nothing to show for it.

Of course they travel well. If  you lived in Oklahoma you would want to get out of the state as much as possible so you might as well have a good time and watch the two football teams play on the road.

I've been all over the country and Oklahoma is actually much better than some of the places I have visited. I like Texas and Colorado as well. Of course I'm sure you have never been to Oklahoma, it's easy to talk bad about a place when you can't see past your liver becuse your head is so far up your a**. Typical SEC fan, just another D-Bag.

I like the thread as well. He gave it to me a little, I gave it back a little. Is this the first grade where people are gonna get their feelings hurt. I could have said "Typical SEC fan, just another dork" I don't really see the difference. They can just delete my post, not the whole thread.
