Super User Sam Posted August 29, 2013 Super User Posted August 29, 2013 OK sports fans. Kickoff is tonight for the college football season and going through the weekend and Monday night. So what are your thoughts on the season? Will Bamasux have a 3-peat? Will Ohio State get to play in a BCS title game after the fiasco against LSU the last time they gave it a try? What about Michigan State? Will Sparty upset its first three opponents? And what about the teams in the old Southwest Conference, what ever it is called today? Texas or Okie State or OU? And who really cares about the Pack-It-In Big Whatever on the Left Coast? Stanfoot? Who cares about Stanfoot? Probably all of their 500 fans. With the SEC poised to sweep its first out of conference games and the big one between Vandy and Ole P##s tonight we start the season with a bang. And of course, what teams, other than for Oregon and TCU have the ugliest uniforms? Let's get it on. If you can't think of anything to say you can post "SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC" to acknowledge your humility for the best conference in the nation. Geaux Tigers! Quote

Smallmouth Hunter Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 I am excited to watch "Johny Football". As long as he doesn't get injured, T-A&M should do very well. I am not a fan of them though. I am a southern cal. fan. I was born there and lived there a few years. Marquis lee should have another fantastic season for them. Also, Everett Golson (i think thats how its spelled) was expelled from notre dame (if i heard correctly) so i am anxious to see how they will do. Quote

Super User Sam Posted August 30, 2013 Author Super User Posted August 30, 2013 South Carolina demolishes North Carolina. Ole P##s scores at end of game and defeats Vandy. Big boys play this weekend and it will be fun to watch the games. Quote
aquaholic Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 I hate the sec but that ole miss vandy game, showed real heart and sportsmanship. It was a very exciting game but you cant call it good football.lots of mistakes but sure made for a good show. As far as the south carolina game went. Clowney supposedly in the best shape of his life spent a lot of the game on the bench huffing and puffing. If Georgia doesnt man handle them ill be surprised. Quote
Fish_Whisperer Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 UNC had the fastest offensive pace that Coach Ward said he had ever seen. Hell during the post game interview Clowney said everybody was tired, said the UNC players told him they were tired. It'll be an interesting game for Georgia vs Clemson, and I'm excited for next Saturday. Quote
sbfishySC Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Clowney ran his mouth more than his legs this offseason, simple as that. Fastest pace they'd ever seen? Not even close. They got tired, clowney especially, and was out of shape. Lets call it what it is. Go Tigers! Quote

sbfishySC Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Stomach virus..ha. Everyone runs to that excuse. Probably had a stomach virus last year all those times opposing players said he took plays off cause he was tired. You certainly can't blame the weather for your defense being tired since you practiced in the SAME type of weather all offseason. Just saying, 3 tackles and 3 "hurries" does not make you a Heisman winner that everyone was already crowning him to be. Quote
aquaholic Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 if north carolina has the fastest offense they have ever seen there is a much bigger issue. North Carolina couldnt hold a match to a team like oregon in terms of speed. That is a fast offense. 1 Quote
