The Young Gun Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I love how hard smallies fight, especially ones stacked up in a fast river waiting to ambush..I don't have a scale or a tape measure on me but I caught 9 in a hour all off the shore by this rock wall in the back of the picture. If I were to guess these both were 18' around, any idea on a weight?? Baits ranged from Bomber Square A cranks to cavitron buzzbaits.. Anybody else find a group of bass that just will hit any lure they see? Quote
Scrm3 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Nice catches. I find this chart to be pretty accurate with length to weight. http://www.windycityfishing.com/bass_conversion_chart.htm Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted August 27, 2013 Super User Posted August 27, 2013 Nice fish. You will never know what they weight without a scale. 1 Quote

JayKumar Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I'd say 2.5 to 3 lbs, but in a month or two they'll weigh more! Quote
