Super User Root beer Posted August 26, 2013 Super User Posted August 26, 2013 I bought a couple lobster tails last night at the store and figure I cook them tonight. Has anyone try cooking them on broil in the oven? If so, how did it turn out? I usually grilled mine until the shell turns red, but thought I try it different tonight. Caesar salad, Caribbean style rice, and broil lobster tails? Edit: I also thought of pan searing it by removing it from shells completely. olive oil and sear lobster on each side. Quote
derekxec Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 never broiled but i like cutting it into quarters and leaving it on the shell and throwing it in soup Quote

Super User Root beer Posted August 27, 2013 Author Super User Posted August 27, 2013 It was delicious. It didn't take long to cook the meat, you have to keep an eye on it. I cut the shells so the meat stuck out of it. Dipped in hot butter, with side of Caribbean style rice and Garlic Caesar salad. It was a great meal. Next time I'm try searing it. Quote
