Super User BassinLou Posted August 23, 2013 Super User Posted August 23, 2013 I thought this would be cool to share. I took a pic of baby gator that resides at one of the canals I fish on. When I went to review the pic with my kids I noticed 2 bass below the gator. Enjoy the pic. Quote

Super User tomustang Posted August 24, 2013 Super User Posted August 24, 2013 That's no protection, I've seen this before with snakes, the bass are trying I find a way to get that gator in their mouth Quote
Brent Bartman Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I have heard that bass will eat baby gators a foot or less. Quote
Super User BassinLou Posted August 26, 2013 Author Super User Posted August 26, 2013 True, a big bass will eat a baby gator, but in this case, that two bass pictured there were less than two pounds each. There was a weak current coming out of that culvert, and the gator and the bass were just hangin out and waiting to catch a snack. Quote
