Does anyone have any insight on these?  I am thinking about trying them and wondered if anyone has some experience with the pro'/con's?

the most durable soft plastic period! I caught 35 bass on 1 bag (qty 5) Zeros. ZToos last just as long. It's all I use when it comes to "stick worms" and "flukes".

I know you are supposed to keep it from touching other plastics, but what about scents like Mega-Strike?

You're right - you can't mix it with other soft plastics. I think Megastrike is petro-based which may not work well either, but I'm not sure. I'm sure BR members will chime in on this.

Yes they are durable....to a fault.  If you fish these in any cover at all you will want to tex-pose or skin hook them and this material makes that difficult.  You risk missing strikes.  The material looks good new when it has it's sheen but it scuffs and looks dull pretty quick.  The price is fair so at least try a pack.  I won't replace the product I bought.  You know what ? PM me and I'll send you a pack, no charge.

I really like the zeros but I'm not a fan of any other elaztech or 3X baits, the way I fish the zeros, either wacky rigged or exposed, enable decent hookups but I had some 3X finesse worms that I could not get a hookset with when rigged on a shakey head.

Im not sure if the Elaztech stuff is the same as the the older Cyberflex that the Zeros used to be made out of.

The Older Cyberflex stuff was great, but I noticed that after you threw the zeros awhile, they started losing thier salt content, stretched out and started to float which just killed the action that bait was supposed to have.

I havent fished any Elaztech baits yet so I wonder if they do the same?

Yes, that still happens which to me illustrates that they last a long time. You have to replace the Zeros or ZToo's when they start to float. Whereas any other brand will tear or you'll lose landing a single fish. These products last for multiple fish. There have been times where I'll use the same worm on multiple outings and just retie. After a couple days, they loose their effectiveness by fading and floating.

These work well with the 3X stuff:

Interesting comments. I use the 3X finesse worms on the Megastrike ShakE2 head with great success.

They will float right out of the package.

They are hard to install on barbs so I solved that problem. Heat the point of a safety pin over a candle or small torch, and melt it into the head about 3/4".

That will allow it to slip onto the barb holder. A drop of super glue and its there to stay. Then run the hook through the body and push the point into a pinch of plastic to make it weedless.

I sometimes rig it by pushing the point of the hook into the centerline then exit the hook out the side so that the head of the worm is buttoned up to the jig head.

It fishes just as well either way, but in grass and vegetation rigged weedless is better.

I have also used it on drop shot rigs with good success.

It also works well on a Jackall Wacky Jig hook, as the following photos will attest. These three fish were caught from one spot on Pickwick Lake in a fifteen or twenty minute stretch on the SK finesse worm rigged on the Jackall Wacky Jig hook. Four inch, coppertreuse color.

Six and four pound smallmouths and a five pound spot.

In all, I pulled over twenty bass out of a fifty foot stretch of water on the SK worm.

Stike King Tour Grade Shakey Head is your best bet.

These heads are made specifically for 3X plastics.
