I built mine out of a couple pneumatic tires from Harbor Freight($10@) a length of 1/2" threaded rod, some PVC pipe, a couple of PVC T-fittings, and some PVC caps. Looks very similar to this one. Mine uses the scupper holes BTW since its a sit on top.

Be careful using the scupper holes for transport as this is a notoriously weak spot in pretty much all kayaks.  I only use my scuppers to hold my kayak with a take out pole if i jump out to fish a spot while floating a river.  On flatwater i always use the anchor trolley.
