What Size Rudder For A Kayak

 This slow summer fishing spell has me bored so I have been thinking of making a rudder for my kayak. I have some scrap 1/4 plexiglass lying around and i was thinking of making it say 4" x 19" for my ride 115. How does that size sound to those of you who have rudders on your kayaks already?

That actually sounds about right.  I have the factory rudder on my 135.  If I think about it tomorrow I will measure it for you.
