Blues19 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I went fishing the other day on the first day of a cold front. It had been about 85 most of the week and it dropped to about 75. I went out with a frog cause Ive become adicted to fishing frogs this summer and there is so much junk on the bottom of the pond, if I throw a jig or T-Rig, it will pick up all the junk. Anyway, what is everyones favorite bait and/or presentation to use durring a cold front? Quote
Super User Shane J Posted August 17, 2013 Super User Posted August 17, 2013 Light Rage-Rigged 7" Thumper or Cutt'R Worm. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 18, 2013 Global Moderator Posted August 18, 2013 If the water isn't too dirty I like a wacky rigged stickworm. It will stay out of the weeds/muck on the bottom and fall slowly right on their noses when they don't want to chase. Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted August 18, 2013 Super User Posted August 18, 2013 Mojo rig with a finesse worm has produced for me this season. Quote
Super User OkobojiEagle Posted August 18, 2013 Super User Posted August 18, 2013 Small plastic grub, tube or worm on a light jighead (exposed hook if cover allows). oe Quote
