If this question were changed to which are the best pair polarized glasses that will get me the best piece of....

Then yeah, I would be down to spend $200 on something I break and lose on a regular basis. The SK11's seem to be a great option not overly priced. The $5 wally worlds cost me and a buddy 2 fine ladies on a pontoon. I do not recommend those...nope, not worth it

I've used Berkley and Strike King, from Wal-Mar.  The amber lenses with green or blue reflective coating I liked really well.  I got some grey lenses ones and they distorted my vision.  I couldn't drive with them.  I called them my painted plastic glasses.

Now, all that said, in a drawing, I won a pair of costas with amber lenses with green reflective coating.  Holy cow.  I would never have spent the money for these.  They were valued at $240.00.  There is really no comparison.  I was one that believed that sunglasses are sunglasses and anyone that spent that kind of money for some was silly.  Not so, now.  I could never afford to replace them if I lose them, so, I am pretty careful with them.

The Costa's with the 580 lens are amazing...

.I've never owned a Strike King, or Wileys brand etc. so I can't help you with a comparison.

But if I ever lose these I'm getting another pair, no desire to compare.

Until I can swing the cash on a pair of polarized prescription glasses, I just throw a pair of cocoons over my regular glasses. I think they do a great job no matter how I look wearing them. I also use them when driving. I like the amber color as the weather changes so often down here in South Florida.

Thanks to this thread, I picked up Strike King S11 Amber. I used it today and  love this pair! I feel this is a bargain with $40 retail price. I was bit worry about the fit since I ordered online, but it fit very well to my rather larger head. I think the design is to fit small to large head.

If you are considering the Fishgillz this may make help sway your decision. They are offering a 2 for 1 promotion

The discount code is fish5000

Wow. That's tempting. I have some Maui Jim's that I found on the side of the road in perfect condition but I need some new pairs for my vehicles. I just hate buying sunglasses without knowing how they fit.

Another vote for the s11's.  I have 3 pair.  One in their smoke color and 2 in their amber color.  Great glasses at a great price.

Smoke - clear/bluebird days

Amber - Any other time.
