Seaguar red label is probably one of the better cheap end fluoros. Dont skimp on your line though. It'll cost you fish and more than likely respooling more often then you'll like. You want cheap? Then prepare for "cheap" results. My .02

Actually yozuri hybrid or Pline fluroclear. These are two lines that are flurocoated and are very manageable even on spinning gear, while costing less.

I wouldn't set a price for line. Your asking for trouble. Back it with cheap mono and you make that 200 yard spool last 3 reels or re spools.

I've tested everything from Berkley Vanish to now testing Tatsu from main lines to leaders. Don't skimp.

berkley trilene XL the red box not the blue which im sure it work good too. i use 14 pd on my pro max and it cast nice and its tuff as hell.

In the price range you specified, Sunline Super Fluorocarbon would be my pick.

sunline FC sniper is on sale at gander mountain for 14.99. it's normally 25ish. you won't find a better fluoro south of 20$ for the price sniper is now,

Seaguar red label! Tested it all summer and I am a big fan. Will be using it all next year for sure. Tried others in the same price range and they sucked. This line rocks for a sub $15 line!

Twice I got it on clearance at dicks sporting goods for less than $10 a spool. Otherwise the standard price of about $12.99 is very good.

I've tested everything from Berkley Vanish to now exclusively using  Tatsu from main lines to leaders. Don't skimp.

Fixed your post!

to the OP:

for real the BPS XPS flouro is great stuff for the money...... but you are better off using high end stuff and using backing (which you should use backing anyway)

Trilene XL and XT (the blue box) aren't fluorocarbon lines.

iabass, thanks for the tip on Suline FC Sniper.  Going to have to take a look.  I like the few Sunline products I've tried so far.

Really I could swore the trilene XL smooth cast was flouero. Is it mono then?

Pline Flouroclear fan here. $10 a spool and the green mist color works so well for clear to lighly stained water.

Red Label has fans, it is inexpensive, but my experience is/was mixed.

If you can find XPS Fluoro on sale at BPS, it is a very good FC.

But I'll second Hooligan with P-Line Floroclear in mist green. It is only coated, while Yo-Zuri Hybrid is bonded copoly+FC. I prefer P-Line over YZ.

I've been using XPS FC this year, have had good and bad experiences, but I'm thinking the bad is that I'm treating it like it is P-Line or Yo-Zuri. By that I mean pure FC (IMO) has to be treated differently than copoly or fluoro coated/bonded lines.

And keep in mind, I use it as leader only, braid is my mainline. So if I haul in a heavy branch, I need to consider replacing the leader. Line nicks, replace the leader....

As well, since this is your first posting on the site, consider stopping by the Introductions thread and tell us a little about yourself!

I rarely use Floro as mainline, but the one I do have is filled with 15lb AbrazX - use it for plastics and jigs around cover that may cause braid to get frayed.  I mainly use braid and tie on a leader (Red Label) and the rest have P Line Floro clear or Yo Zuri.

Another one for Red Label but I would just bite the bullet and buy Invizx instead.  Love it!

If you go with Red Label, use it as a leader, it's too stiff for mainline.
