What is your end all, beat all, go to scent? I've tried a few and none seem to really work all that well. This could be a spray, paste, liquid or whatever else works best for you.

Thanks

I am partial to Megastrike.  I find scent in general works best in colder waters.  Hard to see a difference between Late Spring and Early Fall.

I use megastrike and JJ's Magic.

I use both, but MegaStrike is just soooooo much more user friendly.

You can't dye you crab claws red with Megastrike, though :)

I use megastrike and JJ's Magic.

X2

I use JJ's when I need some color added to my craw claws, but I use Megastrike more often. It's eaiser on my nose. If the fish are pressured in a spot, I will switch between the two.

Powerbait soft plastics require no additional scent. I'm not sayin but I'm sayin...

Agreed. Nothing as effective as that "SUPER STINKIN" Powerbait smell.

When I first started bass fishing I wanted to buy and test all the scents to see which one was better. I purchased the original estimate bass scent. I found this one to work awesome. Ok my ratings so far are, I'm honest now.

1. Baitmate bass, garlic, crawfish, worm/crawler, live bait. The best

2. YUM shad, crawfish. Another good choice.

3. Megastrike I caught nothing every time I tried it.

4. Bang crawfish another good choice.

5. Bang shrimp saltwater excellent.

I'm still trying all of them it's ongoing.

I'm not sure when fishing the same small places if the fish learn our scents. But on a slow day I switched from a bass scent to a garlic and the bite was on. Maybe they like a change in flavors too?

I use JJs not so much for the scent but more for the dye (Dual Purpose), I want to try mega strike but I just don't see the need with most of my plastics heavy loaded with salt or coffee anyway..  I did see clear JJs work once as a scent in the spring, tossed a lizard loaded with JJs right next to a Bass and he approached it  and sucked it up after he smelled it, I don't think the fish was active and really didn't think he would hit it, I believe JJs played a factor in catching him..  So for me I am still not sold on scents yet...

I use three different products.

Fish Stick - Craw Scent

Megastrike

JJ's Magic (Yellow/Cht)

I will use JJ's Magic to add color to plastics, the yellow seems to work best for me.  Fish Stick I usually will put on mostly my jigs and t rigged creature baits.  I use Megastrike on everything else, but I will change it up if things get tough.

For myself, I prefer Bay Rum.

For my fishing lures, I use Baitmate crawfish or Megastrike.

What kind of mega strike do you use? Original craw or garlic?

I've just been using the original. The owner recommended it to me via PM. Said that he uses it more than any other.

Thanks, do you guys put it on everything including hardabits?

I do. I out it on just about everything. It's more of a confidence thing with hard baits. Most are a reaction bite, so I can't tell you if the scent works or not.

I use my plastics with no scent at first. If I get a hit and it misses it one shot of scent and it's a hookup on the next cast.

I use the weedless hooks and when the weedless guard comes up open I know it was a strike.

I've not tried Megastrike yet, because Pro-Cure (in particular Trophy Bass flavor) has been so good.

Another vote for megastrike. Also if you fish swimbaits it works great to lube up the swimbaits for better hooksets and less tearing.
