Super User A-Jay Posted August 14, 2013 Author Super User Posted August 14, 2013 That dude is nuts. Cool footage, though! I thought the same thing - and his wife almost when for a ride. It's all fun & games until you stand in front of a debris-laden flash flood and get wash the heck away . . . . A-Jay 1 Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted August 15, 2013 Super User Posted August 15, 2013 Definitely a cool video. We used to go down to the mountain creeks whenever there was a big storm back in college. Which by itself was ok but we were stupid enough to try and swim across them when they were about 8 feet higher than normal......i only did it once and it scared the bejesus out of me when i jumped in went under and popped up about 300 yards down stream in a matter of seconds.....we are all lucky to still be around. To bad there weren't gopros around back then because that would have been some killer footage Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted August 15, 2013 Super User Posted August 15, 2013 Well I would start with a hollow body frog and work it fast. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted August 15, 2013 Super User Posted August 15, 2013 Here's a Japan tsunami video, similar to the flash flood video, that really show the destructive power of water http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0gh3JrdL-Zg Quote
