quanjig Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 LMBV has been in the Potomac for a while now. I thought it had run its course at Kerr a couple years ago and the fish population was rebounding nicely. Might curb the population of snakeys. Tough to say tho, only time will tell! Quote
Super User Sam Posted August 15, 2013 Super User Posted August 15, 2013 Wow! As Quan said, hope it helps eliminate the snakeheads, but I doubt it. Last time on the Potomac this past June I saw only one snakehead when another guy fishing for bass nailed one. Other than that, have not seen a snakehead on the Potomac for a long time. Quote
Greeneye8181 Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I've caught two the last two times I've been fishing in the Potomac. The first was 7 pounds. Yesterday I caught a 8-pounder. Quote
BP10 Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 i can catch 3 snakeheads a day and and that would be a verryyyyyy slow day i dont think they will ever be gone but sure hope that virus doesnt make it down here Quote
