Fished this lake a few years ago from shore during the white bass round up. I always wanted to get out there and see what I could do with swimbaits on that lake.

Anyone live there and have a boat that wouldnt mind me tagging along sometime?

Thank you in advance. ;)

It's completely private in a gated community.

Only boats registered to homeowners allowed on the lake. I have a relative that lives there, no boat though. Family reunion in the area this weekend so I'm going to see if he will walk me around the lake for a little bit.

Shore pounding is better than nothing!

Darn Private Lakes!!! I got towed at my own private lake the other day. Same rules too, only boats registered to homeowners are allowed on the lake, same goes for trailers I found out. Decided it wasn't worth the risk for any BR members, not like I know how they could tow a truck and trailor.

I want out on a boat in Lake Linganore so bad. Just yesterday I heard about a guy who taxedermied not one, but two LM's over 10lbs with one which could have gone for a state record. But then again it's only heresay as there are no pics.

I hope you manage to get out on that private lake. If it is as little pressured as mine, I am sure you will find the bite!

Here is a pic from DNR earlier this year of what someone pulled out of Ling-a-nore. How much you think she weighed. Looks pretty darn close to 10lbs to me. My first fall season of fishing is coming and I can't wait! I need a boat!!!

I'll send you a PM with my email address.

I can't see most pics at work, blocked by the filters. Maybe you can paste it in an email?

Looks like a big 8 or 9lber. Not very long but does have good girth.

I guessed in the 7s also due to the short appearance.

Good fish regardless.

I see you have Indiana listed as your location?  I saw there is a Heritage Lake in Indiana.

I'm talking about the one in Gettysburg, PA.

Are we talking about the same place? Just clarifying. Thanks for posting.

Oops - Heritage Lake, Indiana is also a private lake, and one of it's subdivisions is called "Gettysburg." Also has a great white bass run in the spring...and BR clumps Indiana in with the "northeast" reports. What are the odds?

Guess I won't be able to help then :) Sorry - LOL

Good luck though...
