paulmandude Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 It seems like every time I skip my Senko style bait under a dock, the hook point pops out and when I retrieve it back to the boat, I have to readjust the bait. I was wondering how you guys combat this inefficiency. I do usually use braid and skin hook texas rig, but do you guys just bury the hook point more so? If someone could show me a pic of how deep you skin hook, that would be much appreciated. Quote
RandySBreth Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Wacky style. Only way to go. Use a weedless hook and you're good in heavier cover, too. Quote
JD96 Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Buy superglue, and put it on the eye of the hook right before you slide the worm up. It bonds very quickly so don't get it on your fingers. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted August 13, 2013 Super User Posted August 13, 2013 Just bury the hook deeper in the plastic. Quote
central.PA.bass Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I really like the idea of the skip gap hooks... Is there a disadvantage to use them all the time? Quote
