@Smells like fish you need the musky sized one!  I have 2 of those and I have never hooked a musky on one, but caught some huge bass on them in my younger days

I have an unopened one in frog color. I might have to try it. If you see any good deals on some in black lemme know. Did it come in a jointed model?

I never saw a jointed model but it wouldn't be too hard to make a jointed model....hmm.

For that size I believe I run owner hyper wire size 3 and size 4 short shank hooks.  I run short shank because the added split ring makes the hooks hang too far with standard length hooks.

Got em today! Two colors.

@JediAmoeba @Smells like fish any suggestions on good treble hooks split rings for these guys? Would like to get some better hooks on 'em

I bought 1/0 owner stingers but gonna have go with a short shank treble. And size 3 owner hyper wire rings. Gonna super glue the screws back in on the front hook hanger.

Jeez, we typed basically the same reply at the same time. Lol. And yes, gluing the screws on is essential.

Great minds think alike. You know the 5/8 comes with 1/0 hooks. I bought these Owner Stingers in 1/0 but won't work. So are you gonna go as small as 4's? I'm gonna go buy 2 sizes either a 1/0 short shank and a #1 short shank or I may get pack of #1's and 2's owner stingers standard shank.

This 5/8oz Jitterbug has size 3 Owner Hyper Wire rings, size 1 Owner short shank PPP hook (STY-35) on the front and a size 2 Owner Stinger (ST-36) on the back. It looks good to me but if going to buy again I'd got the #2 hook in a ST-35. I added a little bend to the side of the lip and will adjust as needed.

I never opened the rear eye nor removed any screws and simply cut off the factory hooks.

I haven't thrown it yet. Today was 2 on Jackall Binsky, 2 on shower blow, 1 on Spro rat, 3 on Senko, 1 on FYAO hellgramite Senko style

Do both & let the bass answer the question...they never get it wrong.  :)

Absolutely agree with this.

Has anybody done any jittering? I used it couple hours the other night after midnight but no takers on any topwater only on Senkos. Threw both the 5/8 and 3/8 sizes with adjusted lips and the 3/8 wasn't that bad just more subtle of splish splashing which may be what it's all about anyways.

Have you seen the Jitterbug 2.0 listed @JediAmoeba I wonder how it'll work with that big feather trailer. If I'm not mistaken TW only had it in 3/8. You threw your Jitterbugs any this year?

Yeah, I spent a few hours with it and caught a dink.  That sound though is so nostalgic as it creeps closer to you in the pitch black night.
