bassfisher217 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I was considering getting the troll perfect system for my trolling motor to make it more managable at full speed, and was wondering if it actually worked, or if it is just like those cheap TV ad products and suck? Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted August 12, 2013 Super User Posted August 12, 2013 Yes it does work. I have had one on my TE 82 for a couple of years. Just takes a minor adjustment to keep the torque out at high speed. It makes for a lot easier handling when it gets really windy and I have to run on high. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted August 12, 2013 Super User Posted August 12, 2013 Yep, I use one on a MG-TE 109 and a MG-TE 82. A friend uses one on a MK-Fortrex 101 Quote
Nice_Bass Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 got mine today and very simple and works good. Recommended. Quote
CxThree Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Waiting to hear back from them. I have the original Evinrude trolling motor still on my boat and it is great. With the way it's designed, I wanted to be sure the troll perfect would work on it. The Evinrud does not have a straight arm. It has an offset to it. Quote
