BadContrakt Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Does an app exist? Because I can't find it if it does... And if the app doesn't exist y'all should get goin on it. I'm sick of this slow website and its even worse on my phone. And no it has nothing to do with my Internet because other sites and games run smooth as butter. Gimme an app! Gimme gimme gimme. Quote
The Young Gun Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 On my iPhone 4 the mobile loads okay, but it likes to double post... A lot Quote
BadContrakt Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 I have iPhone 5 and on the mobile website I can't log in. It just won't do it. Nor will it save my log in info or keep me logged in like on the computer. Quote
MichiganFishing1997 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Should have got a Samsung. Lol. Works great on my phone. 1 Quote

This site runs instantly on my HP laptop, iPhone 4 and iPad. 1 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted August 7, 2013 Super User Posted August 7, 2013 I have no problems on my iPhone 4s....sounds like a case of user error. I'll take a mobile site like this one has over an app most times anyways as i don;t have to worry about updating etc....and mine keeps me logged in as well. Quote
Traveler2586 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Search the Forum for other threads on this subject, they'll tell you how to bookmark BR on your phone for quick access. They told me how to do it on my iPhone 5, but I forget the steps. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted August 7, 2013 Super User Posted August 7, 2013 Search the Forum for other threads on this subject, they'll tell you how to bookmark BR on your phone for quick access. They told me how to do it on my iPhone 5, but I forget the steps. unless the 5 is drastically different just go to the site, hit the little box with an arrow looking thing at the bottom and then bookmark. Rename the bookmark to whatever you want and then when you begin to typ in the bookmark link it should show up right away and you click it and voila....bassresource on your phone. Quote
BadContrakt Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 I'm 21 years old I'm pretty tech savvy lol.The mobile site doesn't let me log in so I have to use the full version. The full version doesn't store my user information.I just wish there was an app. And I know how to bookmark, that's a decent idea. Quote

BadContrakt Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 Lets not turn this into an iOS vs Android thread. I put the forum on my home screen that was a really good idea. Thanks. Quote
Kevin22 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 We just had this thread a couple weeks ago. Don't know what you mean by slow, this site loads up lightning fast for me and even faster on 4G. Literally as soon as I press the BR logo on my homepage it is up and running. Quote
Kevin22 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 @michiganfishing1997 the iphone is made by samsung haha Not entirely true. "Who makes the iPhone? If you answered 'Apple', you're wrong. The iPhone is a global effort. Tens of thousands of people at more than 30 companies on 3 continents work together to make Apple's first phone possible. Apple, of course, designs the product, and also created the single most important 'component' – the software that gives the iPhone its unique personality. But, while Apple gets the credit, behind the scenes there are a host of other players, each of which has to build and deliver complex parts on schedule to make the iPhone possible. Some of them are well known names, like US-based Intel, which supplies the NOR flash chips which hold the iPhone's updatable system software; and Korea's Samsung, which makes the video processor IC. Two famous names from consumer electronics, Japan's Sharp and Sanyo Epson, are among the suppliers of the phone's bright 3.5-inch display." Quote
Snakehead Whisperer Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Windows phone would be nice too. Windows phone would be nice... if it ran Linux. So would the iPhone. I'm 21 years old I'm pretty tech savvy lol. The mobile site doesn't let me log in so I have to use the full version. The full version doesn't store my user information. I just wish there was an app. And I know how to bookmark, that's a decent idea. Try Dolphin web browser. It will render the page more like a full browser, and gives you many options unavailable on Safari/Droid stock browser. BR loads fine on my mobile, but then again I view the full site as I use a lot of the features that are unavailable on the mobile version. Why don't you build the app? I'm assuming that if there are some developers here who will code the app free of charge, nobody here will tell them not to (please contact the site administrators beforehand if you really plan on doing this.) This thread is kind of beating a dead horse though, as this has been discussed several times before. Quote
I.rar Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Mobile and desktop version load and post fine on my s3. It's the auto correct that makes things difficult. SwiftKey seems to be much better than the standard keyboard that comes with the phone too. Worth the couple bucks for easier posting/texting. Quote
