Guest avid Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 It seem that the hopkins shorty and it's look alike partners are the primary choice. But I was wondering if anyone used the krocodile or Kastmaster for deep winter jigging for largemouth Quote
bass109 Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 i have only used the kastmaster, so kastmaster Quote
Captain Cali Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Wish I could. That's a deadly technique in a lot of our deep lakes during the winter. Need a boat though. Quote
Super User dodgeguy Posted November 12, 2006 Super User Posted November 12, 2006 this was caught hopping a 1 oz. krocodile silver spoon on the bottom in 50 feet of water. Quote
Guest avid Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 50 feet of water. WOW Any luck with largemouth bass with them? Quote

jb_adams Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 I bet Kastmasters would catch a ton of white bass in the winter. You can catch a boat load with Kastmasters here when they are schooling. I like the action on a Kastmaster. You can real it slow, fast, or just burn it below the surface. I just haven't found the right combination for it yet. I'm about to try jigging with it myself so I'll let you know. Quote
