Sharp, but have not been perfected yet. I've had major issues with the tips of the hook bending up after only 1-2 fish. Until I hear about no issues, I won't waste anymore money.

They are sharp as hell, and a great idea, but with the tips rolling up, not worth it.

The biggest knock against Eagle Claw Hooks has always been the point bends on hook set and I know what everyone says "Catt Trokar is a separate company and are only sold under the Eagle Claw name".

Huh a separate hook company with the same traits as the parent company ;)

I fish several brands, but decided to try the Trokar 5/0 EWG

on some custom made 3/4 oz GMAN Mop jigs. Just got them

last week, so it's too early to comment on durability. However,

I will say these are BY FAR the sharpest hooks I have.

So far I have not seen a sharper hook.  Ever.  I have not fished with them yet.  Hopefully when I get back from vacation I will have a chance to throw them.

I made the mistake of using the TroKar Drop Shot Hooks.  The first 4 or 5 fish hooked up real easy.  Lost the next 5 fish.  The final straw came when I lost a 5 pound smallmouth on these hooks.  Switched out to my old mainstay, Gamakatsu, and didn't lose a fish the remainder of the day.  I traded the rest of my TroKar's for a pack of Gamakatsu's to a friend who hasn't realized how fragile these hooks are.
