Super User A-Jay Posted July 26, 2010 Super User Posted July 26, 2010 From icast 2010 - Dahlberg Diver Frog - The video of this bait (as well as the new crayfish bait) looks very interesting. Durability might be a concern but the in water action looks Awesome ! I'll be looking to pick a few of these up before the topwater bite up here cools off. A-Jay Quote
MMan16 Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Cool looking baits. I would say durability on the frog is a definate concern. Couldn't tell what those legs were made of but there pretty thin. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted July 26, 2010 Super User Posted July 26, 2010 I watched the video of these on TW's website. They look pretty cool. Definitely concerned about the durability on them. I'm also really wondering about the price. Quote
gar-tracker Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Reference the Diving Frog I'm concerned about the weedless factor, that demonstration doesn't depict what we fish in down here, but man does it look natural. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted July 26, 2010 Super User Posted July 26, 2010 Reference the Diving FrogI'm concerned about the weedless factor, that demonstration doesn't depict what we fish in down here, but man does it look natural. Would be probably be fantastic over some of the submerged weed beds. Other than that, I could easily see that lip getting all gunked up with some of the slop we've got down here. Quote
HuntFishAK Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 After a bit of searching, I found some more info. Looks like the price will be around $11.99. It comes with an extra set of legs. More legs can be purchased. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewicast10luresriver2sea.html Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted July 26, 2010 Super User Posted July 26, 2010 Thats not too bad. I'll probably pick up one when they get released. Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted July 26, 2010 Super User Posted July 26, 2010 Very Cool! 8-) I am interested in that new wide glide bait as well. Looks promising! Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted July 27, 2010 BassResource.com Administrator Posted July 27, 2010 Larry showed me the prototypes over a year ago, along with a video he shot of it in action. I was pretty impressed, and still am. Looks like he was able to get a production version that closely matched the original. That's awesome! He also gave me some of the gliders he hand built. Cool stuff, and fantastic guy! Larry is a class act! Quote
Super User South FLA Posted July 27, 2010 Super User Posted July 27, 2010 Nice froggy! Need to add that and soon, to my froggy collection. Hope it says no to weeds! Quote

bowfish12 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 I'm most interested in the whopper plopper. Have you seen his show where he is using this bait? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted July 27, 2010 Super User Posted July 27, 2010 I'm most interested in the whopper plopper. Have you seen his show where he is using this bait? I believe he's used in three episodes. One on lure making, one on muskies, and another on sound. Quote
bowfish12 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Yea he did, that bait absolutely wore those fish out. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted July 27, 2010 Super User Posted July 27, 2010 I love those episodes when he's sitting in his shop working on baits. He makes such cool stuff. Quote
rat-l-trapper Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Very cool frog. I'll defenitly be buying one as soon as they come out. All his baits look great, but I'm most excited about the wideglide and the frog. Quote
