I seriously doubt it. The temperatures up by those parts in the winter can get pretty chilly and kill them off. That's what happen in 09-10, that big chill we had killed off a lot of pea's. They had a good number of them in the glades.

I heard there wasn't Lou is right. I'm from Jacksonville I'm trying to find the closest spot to catch a peacock

I doubt it.  I had peacocks in my backyard system prior to the extremely cold winter 3-4 years ago that also impacted the local snook fishery so badly that the closed the season.

ive seen a few in my area and i mean a few 2-3 but thats it and im a little south of palm beach gardens

I had them all over the place in the canals near my home before the freeze, I'm in Delray.  I have caught a few near Lake Ida this year but specifically targeting them is pretty much out of the question, it's just a matter of luck.  I do believe snook season never did open back up on the gulf side.  The outpouring of all this freshwater this year has made this a very difficult year to catch anything in saltwater, the fishing is nothing like it should be this time of year.
